Full-time Ratio Sample Clauses

Full-time Ratio. The Employer agrees that not less than 16% of all employees working in the bargaining unit of the store shall be employed as full-time employees. The calculation of the number of full-time jobs shall be done one year after store opening, and every six months thereafter. Full-time employees who are counted will be those who have full-time status on the date of the count and will include employees on vacation, leave of absence, WCB, and any other approved absence. The above calculation shall be based on counting all employees working in the bargaining unit of the store on the date of the count and shall include employees on vacation, leave of absence, WCB, and any other approved absence.
Full-time Ratio. The parties agree the main purpose of part-time employees is to augment the regular full- time work force and to fulfill the needs of the business, wherein the Employer is allowed to remain competitive in the marketplace in which it functions. The Employer shall maintain a full-time workforce of at least seventy (70) employees. Should the Employer increase their workforce to more than one hundred and twenty (120) employees who have completed their probation, the Union and the Employer will meet at a Joint Labour Management meeting to discuss adding to the seventy (70) full-time workforce. Full-time Ratio. The parties agree the main purpose of part-time employees is to augment the regular full-time work force and to fulfill the needs of the business, wherein the Employer is allowed to remain competitive in the marketplace in which it functions. However the ratio of supplemental part-time employees shall not exceed twenty-two (22%) Effective March 29, 2019 the ratio will go to twenty (20%) percent of the total workforce excluding those part-time employees who are being utilized to replace full-time employees who are not present as a result of vacation utilization, illness etc. To insure the utilization of part-time employees is not abused the following formula shall be utilized:
