Grievance Procedure - Third Step. Should the employee not receive satisfaction in the Second Step may refer the grievance to the Shop Committee. It shall be the duty of the Shop Committee to seek a just settlement of the grievance; to this end the Chairman of the Shop Committee and the President of the Union shall, during working hours and without loss of pay, take such time and shall have access to any such plant area where work is being performed by employees covered by this Agreement (except to plant areas to which their access is not permissible for reasons of security or secrecy) as may be reasonably necessary for the proper investigation of the grievance, provided that they shall properly inform all supervisors concerned as to the nature of their business. Should the Shop Committee consider that a just settlement has not been found it may present the grievance to the Director of Human Resources or designate within ten working days after the date of the decision rendered in the Second Step. Within ten working days thereafter, the said representative shall meet the Shop Committee to discuss and adjust the grievance. An International Officer of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers may be present should either party so request. Within ten working days after such discussion the said representative shall present the Company's final decision in writing to the Union. Any change in an employee's classification made in settlement of a grievance shall take effect at the beginning of the next pay period following the date on which the grievance was presented in the First Step as provided in Section hereof, unless some other date shall be agreed to in the settlement. Any time limit provided by this Article may be extended or curtailed by mutual agreement.

Grievance Procedure - Third Step. Should the decision made at Step 2 be unsatisfactory the Union may appeal to the Company’s Labour Relations Department within seven (7) calendar days. Within seven (7) calendar days, the Human Resource Manager shall meet with the Chief Xxxxxxx or his designee and General Chairperson to discuss the matter. The Human Resource Manager shall deliver to the Union his/her answer in writing to the Union within seven (7) calendar days, following the meeting.

Grievance Procedure - Third Step. (a) If the grievance has not been resolved at the second step, the grievant may submit a written grievance to the Hospital Administrator. Such request must be made within fifteen (15) business days from receiving the written response to the second step. Hospital grievances must be filed with an authorized Association representative within these same time limits. (b) The written grievance shall: (1) fully describe the grievance and how the grievant was adversely affected, (2) set forth the section(s) of this Memorandum allegedly violated, (3) indicate the date(s) of the incident grieved, (4) specify the remedy or solution to the grievance sought, and (5) include copies of the response in the second step. (c) Every effort will be made by the parties involved to resolve the grievance and may include a conference among the grievant, Association, department manager, and administrative personnel. The Administrator will respond in writing to the grievance within fifteen (15) business days of receiving the grievance.
Grievance Procedure - Third Step. Within three (3) working days following a second step grievance or as such other time that is mutually agreed upon, the company General Manager or designate shall meet with the Shop Chairperson, Business Chairperson and the Griever to decide whether the grievance will advance to arbitration. Unsettled Any matter discussed by the Company and the Union pursuant to Articles or hereof which is not adjusted to the satisfaction of both parties and any dispute of a grievance at the second or third steps may be required by either party to be submitted to arbitration provided that it shall be deemed to be settled or abandoned if, within ten (10) working days after a final decision has been announced neither party shall have given written notice of intent to submit the matter to arbitration.
