Grievance Stage a) Within five (5) school days of the receipt of the grievance, the Administrator of Human Resources or designate shall arrange a meeting(s) with the OECTA President or designate to seek a mutual resolution to the dispute.
b) The Administrator of Human Resources or designate will give a written response to the dispute allegations to the member(s) and the OECTA Local President within five (5) school days of the meeting(s) held to resolve the dispute at this stage.
Grievance Stage. Failing a satisfactory resolution, a complaint may be taken up as a grievance in the following manner:
(a) The complainant(s) may present the Director or designate with a written grievance. Any such grievance must be delivered to the Director or designate within fourteen (14) calendar days following the meeting in which the complaint was presented to the Director or designate. The nature of the grievance, the relevant provisions of the Collective Agreement, and the remedy sought must be set out in the grievance.
(b) The Director or designate will arrange a meeting with the complainant(s) and Xxxxxxx within fifteen (15) calendar days of receipt of the grievance to discuss the grievance and will provide a written decision within ten (10) calendar days following the meeting. A copy of the decision will be provided to the Xxxxxxx.
Grievance Stage. The following may initiate a grievance:
Grievance Stage. If the complaint is not resolved under 22.08(a), the written grievance is to be submitted within twenty-five (25) days after the alleged grievance has arisen to the Vice-President (Research) who will direct the grievance to either Step One or Step Two as soon as possible and in no case later than five (5) days following receipt of the grievance. The Vice-President will inform the grievor and the Union as to the appropriate Employer's Representative at Step One and/or Step Two.
Grievance Stage. The Union may submit a written grievance to his/her Director, stating the name of the aggrieved Employee and the nature of this grievance. Such grievance must be submitted within fifteen (15) working days of the time the Employee knew of the employer’s response under the complaint stage of this article. The grievance must be signed and dated by the aggrieved Employee. The Xxxxxxx or designate must accompany the Employee to a meeting with the Director concerned which shall be held within five (5) working days of the receipt of the grievance. The Director shall deliver a reply to the grievance, in writing, within five (5) working days from the date of the meeting.

Grievance Stage. If a matter is not resolved by the Informal Resolution Stage with the SGPS Director of Administration or Designate as provided for in 11.03 above, a grievance may be submitted to the Director, Employee Relations or Designate within ten (10) days of the discussion provided for in 11.03 above. The grievance should be stated in writing on a numbered Grievance Form provided by the Union, outlining the facts of the grievance, the Article(s) of the Agreement alleged to have been violated, and the relief sought. The form must be signed and dated by the griever and a representative of the Union.
Grievance Stage. Failing settlement as in Step the Xxxxxxx or alternate xxxxxxx shall, within five working days of the date of the Department Manager's or designate's reply, present the written grievance to the Department Manager or designate. If the Department Manager or designate is not available, such written grievance will be submitted to the Human Resources Manager or designate. A meeting date will be scheduled within five working days, The Xxxxxxx or alternate xxxxxxx, grieving employee, Department Manager and/or Human Resources Manager or designates would attend the meeting to discuss the grievance and strive to achieve a resolution. The company will, within five working days of the meeting, deliver its decision in writing to the xxxxxxx or alternate xxxxxxx. During any of the above outlined steps of the Grievance Procedure, the Xxxxxxx or alternate xxxxxxx, or appropriate management representative may request the presence of the Union Business Agent, or duly accredited official of the Union, to assist in amicable settlement of such dispute. Following unsatisfactory settlement by the Company, the Union may resort to the arbitration procedure provided for in this Agreement. In the event that the Company has a grievance, the Department Manager and/or the Human Resources Manager will endeavour to settle the matter, with the Xxxxxxx or alternate xxxxxxx, and in the event of failure, shall deal with an official of the Union. Following unsatisfactory settlement with the Union, the Company may resort to the arbitration procedure provided for in this Article. Prior to proceeding to a three person Board of Arbitration, the grieving party may elect to have the grievance heard by a single Arbitrator. Should the parties fail to appoint a one person Board of Arbitration within thirty days from the date of the written referral to arbitration, either party shall request the Minister of Labour to make the appropriate appointment. It shall be the responsibility of the party desiring arbitration to inform the other party, in writing, no later than ten days after the last discussion of the grievance between the Union and the Human Resources Manager. Grievance Stage. (i) The Associate Director, Consulting, Recruitment, Retention & Equity or designate will hear the grievance within ten (10) working days of receipt of the grievance. Such discussion may include obtaining agreement with respect to the job description and PDQ and to learn the desired grade level, sub- factors in dispute, and supporting rationale.
(ii) The Associate Director, Consulting, Recruitment, Retention & Employment Equity or designate will respond in writing within ten (10) working days of hearing the grievance.
Grievance Stage. Failing settlement being reached in the Complaint Stage, the Union may, within seven (7) working days of the receipt of the complaint decision, submit the matter in the form of a grievance to the HPEO. The employee, the shop xxxxxxx, the employee’s immediate supervisor, the Onshore Employer’s Representative, the Offshore Installation Manager, the Chief Shop Xxxxxxx, the Union Executive Representative, and the HPEO Representative shall meet in an attempt to resolve the matter. The meeting shall be held, within fourteen (14) working days of the grievance being filed, at a time and location to be agreed between the parties. By mutual agreement between the parties, the HPEO and/or Union may have more or less people attend this meeting. The HPEO Representative shall render a decision in writing to the Union within twenty (20) calendar days from the conclusion of this meeting. Failing settlement being reached, either party may refer the grievance to arbitration within forty-five (45) calendar days of the HPEO Representative’s decision.
