Hours of Work Article. For nurses working ten hour tours, a regular day tour shall be comprised of paid hours, which shall include minutes of paid break time and minutes of unpaid break time. The following scheduling objectives contained in the Collective Agreement shall apply to all nurses working ten hour tours as follows:

Hours of Work Article. (a) The provisions of Article apply to Temporary Employees who are employed in a Full-time capacity. The provisions of Clauses apply to Temporary Employees who are employed in a Part-time capacity. The provisions as outlined below apply to casual Employees: Time off duty for meals will not be considered as working time and will not be less than one-half hour in each If an Employee is recalled to duty during a meal break, compensating time shall be provided later in the shift or paid to the Employee at overtime rates. A paid rest period of fifteen (15) minutes will be permitted during each full half shift. Where practicable, rest periods will be scheduled at or near the middle of each period. The time of meal breaks and rest periods shall be determined by the Employer. In making this determination the Employer will consider Employee preference. When time is converted to Mountain Standard Time in accordance with the Daylight Savings Time Act regular hours of work shall be extended to include the additional hour and the Employee shall be paid at the overtime rate for that hour.
