Industrial First Aid Requirements. (a) The Union and the Employer agree that First Aid Regulations made pursuant to the Workers Compensation Act shall be fully complied with.
(b) Where the Employer requires an employee to perform first aid duties in addition to the normal requirements of the job, the cost of obtaining and renewing the Industrial First Aid Certificate shall be borne by the Employer, and leave to take the necessary courses shall be granted with pay.
(c) Effective the first (1st) of the month following the signing of this Agreement an additional payment shall be granted to employee on the basis of the type of Industrial First Aid Certificate they are required to possess under this clause, as follows: Occupational First Aid Certificate, Class 3 - $44 biweekly Occupational First Aid Certificate, Class 2 - $32 biweekly Occupational First Aid Certificate, Class 1 - $30 biweekly

(b) A monthly premium shall be paid to Employees required to possess a certificate under this Article. The amount of the premium shall be: Industrial First Aid Certificate Level 3: $85 Industrial First Aid Certificate Level 2: $65 Industrial First Aid Certificate Level 1: $50
(c) Where an Employee has obtained a certificate that is beyond the level that is required, the Employee shall be paid the higher premium rate.

(b) Where the Employer requires an employee to obtain or renew a Survival or Industrial First Aid Certificate, all costs shall be borne by the Employer.

(b) A monthly premium shall be paid to employees required to possess a certificate under this article. The amount of the premium shall be $75 per month.
(c) The Union recognizes that should no qualified employee covered by this Agreement be available, other employees of the Employer may be designated for the purposes of this section.
Industrial First Aid Requirements. (a) The Union and the Employer agree that First Aid Regulations made pursuant to the Workers' Compensation Act shall be fully complied with. Where the Employer requires employees to obtain or renew the Survival or Industrial First Aid Certificate, the cost shall be borne by the Employer and where applicable, leave to take the necessary courses shall be granted with pay and without loss of seniority. The Employer shall make a reasonable effort to grant employees holding Survival or Industrial First Aid Certificates under the Article leave with pay to attend conventions and local training sessions sponsored by the Industrial First Aid Attendants' Association of British Columbia and the Workers' Compensation Board.
(b) A monthly premium shall be paid to employees required to possess a certificate under this Article. The amount of the premium shall be seventy-five dollars ($75) per month for holders of the Level II Certificate.
(c) Where an employee required to possess a certificate under this Article has obtained a certificate that is beyond the grade required, the employee shall be paid the rate of seventy-five dollars ($75) per month. Should an employee take the Level III course and leave the service of the University College for employment elsewhere, the employee shall reimburse the University College the cost above the Level II course fee and classroom time on a pro-rata basis.
(d) The Union recognizes that should no qualified employee covered by this Agreement be available, other employees of the Employer may be designated for the purposes of this section.
Industrial First Aid Requirements. The Union and the University agree that First Aid Regulations made pursuant to the Workers’ Compensation Act shall be fully complied with. Where the University requires that an employee obtain, renew or upgrade her Industrial First Aid
Industrial First Aid Requirements. Where the Society requires an employee to perform first aid duties in addition to normal requirements of the employee's position, the cost of obtaining and renewing the Industrial First Aid Certificate will be borne by the Society. The employee designated to perform Industrial First Aid duties will receive an additional payment of $45 per pay period (September through June inclusive).
Industrial First Aid Requirements. (1) The BCGEU and the College agree that they shall comply with First Aid Regulations made pursuant to the Workers' Compensation Act.
(2) Upon the advice of the Occupational Health and Safety Committee, the College shall designate an employee as the First Aid Attendant at each major campus.
(3) Where the College requires an employee to perform First Aid duties in addition to the normal requirements of the job, the cost of obtaining and renewing the Industrial First Aid Certificate shall be borne by the College, and, where necessary, leave to take the necessary courses shall be granted with pay.
(4) When a member of BCGEU agrees to act as the designated First Aid Attendant at any campus, the member shall receive the stipend that is normally paid by the College to First Aid Attendants.
