Initial Allowance. The County will provide each new hire with a full uniform and equipment, to be obtained from a vendor the County has chosen, with the style, make and manufacture of the uniforms and equipment to be determined by the County. Any additional equipment, upgrades or substitutions to the equipment will be at the new hire’s own cost. Attached as Appendix “B” to this Agreement is a list of what uniforms the County will supply to a new hire. The County will meet and confer with the Association prior to making any significant changes in what it will provide in Appendix “B.”
Initial Allowance. The initial allowance will be at the current rate and normally provided to the new employee within 30 days after being hired.
Initial Allowance. Landlord shall pay to Tenant an allowance ("Initial Allowance") equal to $15.00 per square foot of Net Rentable Area contained in the initial Leased, Premises (provided the portion of the Initial Allowance applicable to any portion of the Leased Premises for which the Rent Commencement Date is not March 1, 1998 shall be proportionately reduced by multiplying such Initial Allowance by a fraction, the numerator of which is the number of days in the Term after the Rent Commencement Date for such portion of the Leased Premises and the denominator of which is the number of days in the Term Commencing March 1, 1998) to be used for Tenant's relocation costs, space planning and design costs and the cost of any leasehold improvements within the initial Leased Premises, signage, generator, and any lobby improvements, including, but not limited to, repainting, recarpeting, repairs or refurbishments of existing leasehold improvements, installation of additional leasehold improvements, and telephone and/or computer cabling and installation, all work to be performed and the payment of the Initial Allowance to be
Initial Allowance. An initial allowance shall be paid to the Company equal to $3,400,000. This Initial Allowance is due and payable on the effective date of this Agreement. This allowance is meant to reimburse the Company for all acquisition costs incurred on the reinsured business. No other allowances will be paid to the Company by the Reinsurer as reimbursement for these expenses.

Initial Allowance. Simultaneously with the payment of the Initial ----------------- Reinsurance Premium, as described in Article II Paragraph 1 by the Ceding Company, the Reinsurer shall pay the Ceding Company an Initial Allowance equal to (a) minus (b), where:
(a) is the Initial Reinsurance Premium, as described in Article II Paragraph 1; and
(b) is the Initial Funds Withheld Adjustment, as described in Article IV Paragraph 4.
Initial Allowance. Landlord shall provide Tenant an allowance equal to the product obtained by multiplying the rentable area of the Premises as of the Commencement Date (including the 12th Floor Space, notwithstanding that the 12th Floor Extension Option is exercised) (excluding the rentable area of the Pocket Space) by Thirty-Eight Dollars ($38.00) (the "Tenant Allowance"). The Tenant Allowance shall be funded in accordance with the terms and conditions of Exhibit "B". The Tenant Allowance shall be applied toward the cost of the architect's and engineer's fees, project manager's fees and the fees of other professional consultants for designing and preparing construction documents for the Tenant's Work, legal fees in negotiating this Lease, the costs incurred to construct Tenant's Work and the costs listed on Exhibit "B-1."

Initial Allowance. Provided Tenant is not in default under the Lease (or as to a default described under Section 9.1(h) of the Lease, only, beyond any applicable notice and cure period), Landlord agrees to contribute a sum not to exceed $1,000,000.00 (the “Initial Allowance”) toward the cost of performing the Initial Improvements. The Initial Allowance may only be used for the cost of preparing design and construction documents and architectural, mechanical and electrical plans for the Initial Improvements and for hard costs in connection with the Initial Improvements in accordance with the Plan and for no other purposes. Any deviations from the Plan and all material change orders (as described in Section 7 below) must be approved in advance by Landlord, which approval will not be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed and will be granted or withheld on or before the tenth (10th) business day following Landlord’s receipt of a detailed written request from Tenant. In the event Landlord fails to respond within such ten (10) business day period, then Landlord will be deemed to have approved Tenant’s request. Each periodic disbursement from the Initial Allowance, (less a ten percent (10%) retainage, which retainage shall be payable as part of the final draw), shall be paid to Tenant or, at Landlord’s option, to the order of Tenant’s Contractor within thirty (30) days after receipt of all of the following documentation: (i) an application for payment and sworn statement of contractor substantially in the form of AIA Document G-702 covering all work for which disbursement is to be made to a date specified therein; (ii) a certification from an AIA architect substantially in the form of the Architect’s Certificate for Payment which is located on AIA Document G702, Application and Certificate of Payment; (iii) Tenant’s Contractor’s, subcontractor’s and material supplier’s waivers of liens which shall cover all Initial Improvements for which disbursement is being requested and all other statements and forms required for compliance with the mechanics’ lien laws of the state in which the Premises is located, together with all such invoices, contracts, or other supporting data as Landlord or Landlord’s mortgagee may reasonably require; (iv) with respect to the first disbursement a cost breakdown for each trade or subcontractor performing the initial Improvements, and for subsequent disbursements any supplemental or revised cost breakdowns; (v) with respect to the first disbursemen...
Initial Allowance. Although Tenant shall be solely responsible for all costs and expenses in connection with the construction of the Initial Improvements. Landlord shall fund, for the benefit of Tenant, an allowance for the Initial Improvements in an amount not to exceed Thirty Five and 10/100 Dollars ($35.10) per RSF of the Initial Premises ("Initial Allowance"). The following portions of the Initial Allowance can be applied by Tenant as follows:
(i) MOVING/FF&E ALLOWANCE. Up to Three and 00/100 Dollars ($3.00) per RSF of the Initial Premises of the Initial Allowance can be applied to the costs and expenses reasonably documented for the benefit of Landlord that are incurred by Tenant for (i) moving and related relocation expenses in connection with Tenant's occupancy of the Initial Premises.
(ii) the purchase of furniture, fixture and equipment to be used by Tenant in the Initial Premises, and (iii) cabling of the Initial Premises (collectively in respect to clauses (i) through (iii), "MOVING/FF&E Allowance").
