Labour Flexibility. An employer may direct an employee to carry out duties as are within the limits of the employee's skill, competence and training. Such duties may include work which is incidental or peripheral to the employee's main tasks provided that such duties are not designed to promote deskilling nor are inconsistent with Clause 35 - Domestic Work. Any employer may direct an employee to carry out duties and use such equipment as may be required provided that the employee has been properly trained or has otherwise acquired the necessary skills in the use of such equipment. Any such direction issued by the employer shall be consistent with the employer's responsibility to provide a safe and healthy working environment for employees and the employer's duty of care to patients.

(ii) An employer may direct an employee to carry out such duties and use such tools and equipment as may be required provided that the employee has been properly trained or has otherwise acquired the necessary skills in the use of such tools and equipment.
(iii) Any direction issued by an employer pursuant to sub-clause (i) and (ii) shall be consistent with the employer's responsibilities to provide a safe and healthy working environment.
(iv) Existing provisions with respect to the payment of higher duties allowances shall apply in such circumstances.
Labour Flexibility. 11.1 An employer may direct an employee to carry out such duties within the Epping Surgery Centre Pty Ltd which are within the limits of the employee's skill, competence and training. Such duties may include work which is incidental or peripheral to the employee's main tasks provided that such duties are not designed to promote deskilling.
11.2 The employer may direct an employee to carry out such duties and use such tools and equipment as may be required provided that the employee has been properly trained in the use of such tools and equipment.
11.3 Any direction issued by the employer pursuant to subclause 11.1 and/or 11.2 shall be consistent with the employer's responsibilities to provide a safe and healthy working environment for employees and the employer's duty of care to patients.
Labour Flexibility. (a) The supervisor may direct an employee to carry out such duties as are within the limits of the employee's skill, competence and training that are consistent with the employee's classification and grading, provided that such duties are not designed to promote deskilling. Such work will be performed without reduction in salary.
(b) The supervisor may direct an employee to carry out duties and use such equipment as may be required, provided that the employee has been properly trained or has otherwise acquired the necessary skills in the use of such equipment. Any such direction issued by the employer shall be consistent with the employer's responsibility to provide a safe and healthy working environment for employees, and the employer's duty of care.
(c) Provided further that where an employee is directed to carry out work of a higher classification, the provisions of clause 38 – HIGHER DUTIES will apply.
Labour Flexibility. (a) For the purpose of increasing productivity and flexibility, as well as enhancing career opportunities for employees, it is agreed that employees may perform a wider range of duties including work which is incidental or peripheral to their main task or function.
(b) As part of the structural efficiency process, and on an ongoing basis, the parties agree that discussions should continue at the enterprise level to provide for more flexible working arrangements, improvements in the quality of working life, enhancement of skills and job satisfaction.

Such duties may include work which is incidental or peripheral to the Nurse Caregiver’s main tasks provided that such duties are not designed to promote deskilling.
(ii) The Employer may direct a Nurse Caregiver to carry out duties and use such equipment as may be required provided that the Nurse Caregiver has been properly trained or has otherwise acquired the necessary skills in the use of such equipment. Any such direction issued by the Employer shall be consistent with the Employer’s responsibility to provide a safe and healthy working environment for Nurse Caregivers and the Employer’s duty of care to patients.
Labour Flexibility. 25.1 An Employer may direct an Employee to carry out such duties as are within the limits of the Employee’s skill, competence and training consistent with the classification structure of this agreement, provided that such duties are not designed to promote deskilling.
25.2 An Employer may direct an Employee to carry out such duties and use such tools and equipment as may be required, provided that the Employee has been properly trained in the use of such tools and equipment.
25.3 Any direction issued by an Employer, pursuant to subclauses 25.1 and 25.2, shall be consistent with the Employer’s responsibilities to provide a safe and healthy working environment.
25.4 An Employee can be required to perform the duties at an equivalent or lower level provided that the Employee has the competence to perform those duties.
25.5 Employees covered by this Agreement shall also perform work which is incidental or peripheral to their main tasks or functions.

Such duties may include work which is incidental or peripheral to the employee's main tasks provided that such duties are not designed to promote deskilling.
11.2 The employer may direct an employee to carry out such duties and use such tools and equipment as may be required provided that the employee has been properly trained in the use of such tools and equipment.
11.3 Any direction issued by the employer pursuant to subclause 11.1 and/or 11.2 shall be consistent with the employer's responsibilities to provide a safe and healthy working environment for employees and the employer's duty of care to patients.
