HIGHER DUTIES ALLOWANCES. 10.1 Where the employer requires an employee to substantially perform the duties and carry the responsibilities of a position of a class or grade higher than the employee’s own or where an employee is temporarily appointed to a higher graded position for three whole days or longer, the employee will receive for the whole period the salary and conditions of the position to which they are temporarily appointed or performing. 10.2 The salary payment shall be the minimum salary the employee would receive if appointed to that position.

HIGHER DUTIES ALLOWANCES. ACADEMIC STAFF 63.1 The payment of a higher duties allowance (HDA) for academic staff is limited to course or program coordination and Acting Pro Vice Chancellor, or Head of School, or Research Centre and Institute Director. 63.2 Academic staff required to act in positions of Pro Vice Chancellor or Head of School or Research Centre and Institute Director shall receive a higher duty allowance after a period of two (2) weeks in the higher classified position. The allowance shall be 50% of the difference between their existing salary and the minimum salary for the higher classified position. After a period of four (4) weeks in the higher classified position, the allowance shall be the difference between their existing salary and the minimum salary for the higher classified position. 63.3 Academic staff, at Level A Step 1–5, required to undertake full course coordination duties shall receive a higher duties allowance at Level A Step 6–8. 63.4 Academic staff required to undertake full program coordination duties shall receive a higher duties allowance at Level C Step 1–6. Annual incremental adjustments will apply.
HIGHER DUTIES ALLOWANCES. 2.12.1. A staff member who is required to act in a position of higher classification than that which the staff member occupies or who is assigned responsibilities or duties which warrant the payment of a higher duties allowance shall be paid an allowance in accordance with the University policy and procedures for higher duties allowances. 2.12.2. Alln allowances must be payable as salary for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months or more before it will attract University superannuation contributions.
HIGHER DUTIES ALLOWANCES. 26.2.1 The Team Leader allowance will be paid to employees designated by management to perform in leadership roles, with added responsibilities in the areas of team leadership, productivity and continuous improvement. 26.2.2 The Lab Relief allowance will be paid to employees designated by management to perform duties in the laboratory with added responsibilities in the area of quality performance. 26.2.3 The Higher Duties allowances are ‘all purpose’ allowances. As such the allowance will be included in the employee’s hourly rate and shall apply in the calculation of overtime, annual leave, personal leave, shift loading and public holidays. 26.2.4 Team members may be required to perform higher duties from time to time. When this occurs, the employee will be paid a higher duties allowance as per the schedule in Clause 26.6. Payment for the higher duties allowance will only apply for the period when higher duties are actually performed and are not part of an ongoing skills payment. 26.2.5 Employees performing higher duties for 2 hours or less will be paid the allowance for the time actually worked. Employees performing higher duties for more than 2 hours will be paid the allowance for the entire shift.
HIGHER DUTIES ALLOWANCES. 45.1 An employee who is directed by the employer to act in an office which is classified higher than the employee’s own substantive office and who performs the full duties and accepts the full responsibility of the higher office for a continuous period of five (5) consecutive working days or more, shall, subject to the provisions of this clause, be paid an allowance equal to the difference between the employee's own wages and the wages the employee would receive if the employee was permanently appointed to the office in which the employee is so directed to act. Provided that where the hours of duty of an employee performing shift work are greater than 7.6 hours per day as provided for in “Clause 22Shift Work Allowance” of this Agreement the allowance shall be payable after the completion of 38 consecutive working hours in the higher classified position. This period shall not include any time worked as overtime. 45.2 Where the full duties of a higher office are temporarily performed by two (2) or more employees they shall each be paid an allowance as determined by the employer. 45.3 An employee who is directed to act in a higher classified office but who is not required to carry out the full duties of the position and/or accept the full responsibilities, shall be paid such proportion of the allowance provided for in subclause 45.1 of this clause as the duties and responsibilities performed bear to the full duties and responsibilities of the higher office. Provided that the employee shall be informed, prior to the commencement of acting in the higher classified office, of the duties to be carried out, the responsibilities to be accepted and the allowance to be paid. The allowance paid may be adjusted during the period of higher duties. 45.4 Where an employee who has qualified for payment of higher duties allowance under this clause is required to act in another office or other offices classified higher than the employee’s own for periods less than five consecutive working days without any break in acting service, such employee shall be paid a higher duties allowance for such periods: provided that payment shall be made at the highest rate the employee has been paid during the term of continuous acting or at the rate applicable to the office in which the employee is currently acting - whichever is the lesser. 45.5 Where an employee is directed to act in an office which has an incremental range of wages such an employee shall be entitled to receive an incre...
HIGHER DUTIES ALLOWANCES. 30.1 Where an employee who is authorised by the ARCBS to undertake the duties of an employee on a higher classification under this Agreement for a period of five or more consecutive working days he/she shall be paid for the period during which he/she undertakes such duties at not less than the minimum rate prescribed for the relevant classification as specified in Appendix 1 - Salaries, Classifications & Allowances, of this Agreement applying to the employee so relieved.

HIGHER DUTIES ALLOWANCES. Where an employee is required to act in a higher duty position for a period of 38 working hours or more the employee will be paid at the appropriate base rate for that position based on level of accountability demonstrated in performing the full duties of the higher position. Higher Duty Allowance will be paid for the time actually worked in the higher duty position.
HIGHER DUTIES ALLOWANCES. 32.2.1 SBS may require an Employee to temporarily perform the work of a position classified at a salary level higher than their own position. A higher duties allowance is payable where an Employee is required, for a period of at least one full day, to perform all or a part of the work associated with a higher-level position, as follows: (a) if they are required to perform all of the work associated with the higher position – an allowance equal to the difference between their own salary and the minimum salary for the higher salary level; or (b) if they are required to perform only part of the work of the higher position – an alternative amount of allowance determined by SBS. 32.2.2 An Employee will continue to receive a higher duties allowance if they take paid leave during the period that they are receiving an allowance. This will not cause a higher duties allowance to be paid beyond the date that the Employee would have ceased performing higher duties had they been attending work. 32.2.3 Employees who are required to work in a classification with a minimum full-time salary at or above the Overtime Barrier for a period of less than 1 week will not be paid a higher duties allowance. The period will not count as service at the higher classification unless SBS determines otherwise. 32.2.4 Where an Employee receives a higher duties allowance for working in a single position for a continuous period of 12 months, SBS will review the situation to establish whether a vacancy exists. If a vacancy exists, a merit-based selection process will occur.

  • Higher Duties Allowance (a) An employee who is appointed to perform temporarily all of the duties of a higher classified position and who performs all such duties required to be performed during the appointment will be paid an allowance equal to the difference between their substantive salary and the minimum salary of the higher classified position for all the time during which the employee performs such duties. Where it is specified at the commencement of the higher duties allowance that the employee is to undertake part of the duties of the higher position only, a lesser amount, which will normally be a percentage of the full amount, will be paid. (b) No allowance will be payable pursuant to subclause 12.1(a) unless the employee performs the duties of the higher classified position for a period in excess of one (1) week or in excess of two (2) consecutive working days for trades staff. (c) No allowance will be payable pursuant to subclause 12.1(a) to an employee whose position is designated as a “deputy” or equivalent of a more senior employee, whose normal duties as specified by their job description include deputising for that more senior employee and who is deputising while the senior employee is absent on duty or for periods of leave for up to four (4) weeks. (d) An employee who has been in receipt of a higher duties allowance for more than one (1) month will be paid such allowance for all paid leave taken during that period. (e) An employee who has been relieving continuously in a position for a period in excess of 12 months who retires, resigns or is retrenched by the University will receive payment for accrued leave entitlements at the higher rate of pay on termination of employment. (f) Where an employee in receipt of a higher duties allowance works on a public holiday, the relevant shift loading or overtime rate will be applied to the higher duties allowance for time worked on that day.

  • Higher Duties Where any Employee on any day performs two or more classes of work to which different rates of pay are applicable, the Employee shall be paid at the higher hourly rate for the day if the Employee is required to work at that class of work for two (2) hours or more, and if for less than two (2) hours during any one (1) day the Employee will be paid the higher rate for the time so worked.

  • Certain Duties and Responsibilities The duties and responsibilities of the Trustee shall be as provided by the Trust Indenture Act.   • Employment Duties and Responsibilities A) The Company shall employ the Executive, and the Executive shall serve the Company, as President and Chief Executive Officer, with such duties and responsibilities as may be assigned to the Executive by the Board of Directors of the Company (“BOD”) and are typically associated with a position of that nature.   • Executive Duties During and after Executive’s employment with the Company, Executive shall, without additional compensation: (i) promptly disclose to the Company any Employee Development, specifically identifying any inventions, improvements or other portions of the Employee Development that are potential patentable or susceptible to protection as a trade secret; (ii) execute and deliver any and all applications, assignments, documents, and other instruments that the Company shall deem necessary to protect the right, title and interest of the Company or its designee in or to any Employee Development; (iii) reasonably cooperate and assist in providing information for making and completing regulatory and other filings in connection with any Employee Development; (iv) reasonably cooperate and assist in providing information for or participating in any action, threatened action, or considered action relating to any Employee Development; and (v) take any and all other actions as the Company may otherwise require with respect to any Employee Development.

  • Position, Duties and Responsibilities During the Term (as defined in Section 2.01 below), Executive shall serve as Chief Financial Officer of Company as well as in such other positions or capacities as may be reasonably requested by the Board of Directors of Company (the “Board”) or the Chief Executive Officer of Company (the “CEO”) and shall have such duties and responsibilities as are customary for, and are consistent with, such position(s) as may, from time to time, be assigned by the Board, the CEO and/or any of their respective nominees. Executive shall be required to spend on average eight days per month at the Company’s corporate offices in either Florida or Israel including travel. Executive acknowledges that he shall be required to travel as reasonably necessary to perform Executive’s duties hereunder, including international travel.

  • Uniform Allowance Where uniforms are required, the Hospital shall either supply and launder uniforms or provide a uniform allowance of per year in a lump sum payment in the first pay period of November of each year.

  • Duties After Loss In case of a loss to covered property, we have no duty to provide coverage under this policy if the failure to comply with the following duties is prejudicial to us. These duties must be performed either by you, an "insured" seeking coverage, or a representative of either: 1. Give prompt notice to us or our agent; 2. Notify the police in case of loss by theft; 3. Attach all bills, receipts and related documents that justify the figures in the inventory; 7. As often as we reasonably require: a. Show the damaged property; b. Provide us with records and documents we request and permit us to make copies; and c. Submit to examination under oath, while not in the presence of another "insured", and sign the same; 8. Send to us, within 60 days after our request, your signed, sworn proof of loss which sets forth, to the best of your knowledge and belief: a. The time and cause of loss; b. The interests of all "insureds" and all others in the property involved and all liens on the property; c. Other insurance which may cover the loss; d. Changes in title or occupancy of the property during the term of the policy; e. Specifications of damaged buildings and detailed repair estimates; f. The inventory of damaged personal property described in 6. above; g. Receipts for additional living expenses incurred and records that support the fair rental value loss; and h. Evidence or affidavit that supports a claim under E.6. Credit Card, Electronic Fund Transfer Card Or Access Device, Forgery And Counterfeit Money under Section I – Property Coverages, stating the amount and cause of loss.

  • Position Duties Responsibilities 3.01 It is contemplated that at all times during the Period of Employment the Executive shall continue to serve as a principal officer of the Company with the office and title of Vice President, General Counsel of the Company and continue to have duties and responsibilities commensurate with those duties and responsibilities imposed on the Executive immediately prior to the Effective Date. 3.02 During the Period of Employment the Executive shall also serve and continue to serve, if and when elected and reelected, as an officer or director, or both, of any subsidiary, division or affiliate of the Company. 3.03 Throughout the Period of Employment the Executive shall devote his full time and undivided attention during normal business hours to the business and affairs of the Company, except for reasonable vacations and except for illness or incapacity, but nothing in this Agreement shall preclude the Executive from devoting reasonable periods required for serving as a director or member of a committee of any organization involving no conflict of interest with the interests of the Company, from engaging in charitable and community activities, and from managing his personal investments, provided that such activities do not materially interfere with the regular performance of his duties and responsibilities under this Agreement. 3.04 The office of the Executive shall be located at the executive offices of the Company at 00000 Xxxxxxxx Xxxxx, Xxxxx 000, Xxxxxxx, Xxxxx 00000. The Executive shall not be required to change the current situs of his employment or residence. The Executive also shall not be required to be absent therefrom on travel status or otherwise more than a total of 60 working days in any calendar year nor more than 20 consecutive days at any one time.
