Leave & Holidays. The following leave & holidays shall be admissible to Apprentices:
Leave & Holidays. Employee will be entitled to 4 weeks paid vacation each fiscal year in accordance with Company's vacation policies in effect for its employees from time to time. Vacation must be taken by Employee at such time or times as approved by Company. Employee will also be entitled to the paid holidays and other paid leave set forth in Company's policies. Vacation days and holidays during any fiscal year that are not used by Employee during such fiscal year will be subject to any vacation days and holiday policy that Company may have in place from time to time.
Leave & Holidays. Employees can obtain further information about their entitlements under the Holidays Xxx 0000 (and any subsequent amendments) from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.
Leave & Holidays. 6.1 The Ministry is committed to ensuring all forms of leave are well managed and comply with good employer, statutory and employment agreement obligations.
Leave & Holidays. 6.2 Service recognition for leave purposes (replaces current clause 6.2.1) The crediting of previous service provisions contained in this section apply to PSA members only.
Leave & Holidays. In lieu of the paid leave benefits provided to other District administrators, the Superintendent shall receive thirty (30) days of paid leave each fiscal year of this Contract, accruing at the rate set forth in District policy. Accrued and unpaid leave may be taken at the discretion of the Superintendent subject to Governing Board approval. Up to fifteen (15) days of unused paid leave may be carried over into a subsequent year, but in no event shall the Superintendent have accumulated more than forty-five (45) days of paid leave at the beginning of any year of this contract. Any unused paid leave in excess of 45 days shall be forfeited at the beginning of each year of this contract. On or before June 10 of each year of this Contract, the Superintendent may request in writing to be compensated at his then daily rate of pay ("Daily Rate of Pay") for up to forty (40) days of accumulated but unused paid leave. If the Superintendent makes such a request, payment for such accrued and unused paid leave days shall be completed on or before June 30. The Superintendent's Daily Rate of Pay shall be calculated by dividing the Superintendent's then-current Annual Base Salary, set forth in Paragraph 4(A) above, by 260. Unless Superintendent resigns pursuant to Paragraph 7 of this Contract, upon the completion of this contract, his accumulated and unused paid leave will be paid to the Superintendent in a lump sum, subject to all required federal and state wage withholdings, at his then Daily Rate of Pay. The Superintendent may observe the same legal holidays as those permitted to be observed by other District administrators.
Leave & Holidays. The Employee shall be entitled to leave in accordance with applicable laws and the Leave Policy of the Company as notified from time to time.
Leave & Holidays. Employee shall be entitled to minimum of 30 paid days of annual leave in addition to other holidays, casual leave, etc in accordance with the terms of the human resource policy of the Company.
Leave & Holidays. 7.1. Weekly leave shall be Sunday. Holidays shall be national holidays in Labour Law.
Leave & Holidays. (2017) The following holidays shall be recognized and observed and paid as holidays: New Year’s Eve Day Xxxxxx X. Xxxx’x Birthday President’s Day Patriot’s Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Columbus Day Veterans’ Day Thanksgiving Day Friday After Thanksgiving Christmas Day Any additional days declared by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Judicial Court or designee. Any Holiday falling on a Saturday shall be observed on the proceeding Friday. Any Holiday falling on a Sunday shall be observed on the Succeeding Monday. Employees scheduled to work on a holiday as a result of operational needs, shall be entitled to “Holiday Worked” pay, equivalent to one and one-half (1 ½) times the regular hourly rate of pay, for actual time worked on that day. Such time will be paid in addition to the eight (8) hours of straight Holiday pay.
