HOLIDAYS AND OTHER PAID LEAVE.
Section 1. Following the SPB determining the dates on which legal holidays shall be observed, a copy of the list will be provided to the Union.
Section 2. Holidays that occur during an Employee’s sick leave will not be charged to sick leave and will be recorded and paid as holidays.
Section 3. Full-time Employees, whose normal work schedule does not include the day observed as a holiday, shall be entitled to time off with pay equal to the Employee’s normal workday. When an authorized holiday falls on an Employee’s regularly scheduled workday and the Employee is not required to work, the Employee shall be paid at their hourly rate of pay for the number of hours they would have normally worked.
Section 4. In the event the Governor provides an early release (administrative leave) for State Employees, notice shall be provided to the Union as soon as practical. Upon notice to the Employer, the Employer shall provide notice to its Employees as soon as practical.
Section 5. In the event the Governor elects to grant general administrative leave for any purpose other than by reason of inclement weather, all Employees shall have such leave approved on a fair and equitable basis. Employees required to maintain necessary services and otherwise not able to observe the administrative leave during the time in which it is granted shall be credited with the time.
HOLIDAYS AND OTHER PAID LEAVE. 8.1 The Executive is entitled to 28 days’ paid holiday each year and paid time off for the eight public holidays normally observed in England. The Company’s holiday year is from 1 January to 31 December each year. In respect of any part year worked, holiday entitlement will accrue in accordance with the UK Holiday Policy as amended from time to time.
8.2 The Executive may carry forward accrued holiday in accordance with the Company rules on banking of holidays outlined in its UK Holiday Policy, as amended from time to time. Any holiday which is not banked in accordance with these rules will be lost.
8.3 The Executive will take his holiday at such times as are agreed with, or required by the Company. If requested the Executive will take all or part of any accrued untaken holiday during his notice period.
8.4 On termination of Employment the Executive will as appropriate be paid in lieu of any accrued but untaken holiday or will repay to the Company any sums paid for any holiday taken in excess of his accrued entitlement. The Company may withhold any such sums from any payments due to the Executive from the Company or any Associated Company. The calculation for the payment or repayment (as appropriate) shall be made by reference to 1/260 of the Executive’s annual Basic Salary for each day’s holiday.

9.3. Save for bank or public holidays, you will be deemed to have taken your entitlement to holiday under the Working Time Directive (2003/88/EC) before any entitlement to holiday under the Working Time Regulations 1998 ("WTR") or, if applicable, the Working Time Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2016, and/or non-WTR holiday.
9.4. You will be allowed to carry forward up to five days unused annual leave from one leave year to another (pro rata for part-time employees or if your employment commences part way through the leave year) which must be taken within the first three months of the next annual leave year. You will not be entitled to payment for any unused holiday entitlement outside of this, save as where required by law.
9.5. If you have taken more holiday than your accrued entitlement at the date your employment terminates, the Company will be entitled to deduct from any payments due to you one day’s pay, calculated as 1/260th of your salary for each day taken in excess of your entitlement.
9.6. If you have taken fewer days’ holiday than your accrued entitlement at the date your employment terminates, you will receive one day’s pay for each unused day.
