Mentorship Program. Teachers new to the profession shall be offered a plan of assistance developed by the beginning teacher and an experienced teacher colleague who volunteers to be a mentor, in consultation with the Principal or designate or Superintendent or designate. Such a plan of assistance shall include an appropriate instructional assignment and two (2) days' release time for both the beginning teacher and the mentor for observation and interaction.
Mentorship Program. Both NECA and the IBEW believe that creating a formal mentorship program for electrical construction contractors can be a valuable initiative for the professional development of individuals within the industry.
Mentorship Program. The Board shall provide a mentorship program in accordance with Illinois State Board of Education Administrative Rules. The purpose of the mentorship program shall be to provide guidance from experienced educators to educators new to the District.
Mentorship Program. The parties agree it is in the best interest of the Department to establish a mentorship program in which those currently holding the rank of Lieutenant who wish to promote to the rank of Commander are given the opportunity for mentorship by a current Commander. The mentorship program shall be loosely structured to ensure each potential candidate can receive specific guidance unique to their professional history, experience, and career goals. Participation in the mentorship program is not required for promotion. The department shall appoint one sworn individual to facilitate mentor assignments and ensure equitable access to all candidates wishing to participate.
Mentorship Program. 1. The Board shall establish a fund for the purpose of promoting a mentorship program for the teaching staff of the school district.
Mentorship Program. 101 Mentorship is a supportive, learning and professional relationship between people who 102 have specific skills and knowledge (mentors) and individuals (mentees) who need or 103 want the same skills and advantages to move up in work, skill level, or performance. 104 The Employer will provide formal mentorship opportunities to all employees. 105 Participation in this program is voluntary. Mentors and mentees will commit to one hour 106 per month for a year that will be considered work time. Mentors are required to have 107 worked in the UW Libraries, Xxxxxxxxx Law Library, and UW Press for at least one (1) 108 year and have five (5) or more years of full-time professional experience. Applications 109 for mentors and mentees will be solicited twice annually in Winter and Spring. 110
Mentorship Program. The Mentorship program shall include a provision that has the Association, with recommendations from the building principals,selecting all mentors and the rate of compensation or release time. This mentor program shall be submitted to the Board and Association for their approval. Based upon licensure law, all new entry year teachers must pass a performance assessment. Teays Valley District’s entry year program must include components that address the entry year process. All state funding coming to the Teays Valley District designated for entry year use will be used for purchased services through the Pickaway County Educational Service Center to support an entry year program as long as the Pickaway County Educational Service Center offers this program to the Board. Monies will be used for, but not limited to, mentor salaries, entry year salaries, materials, substitute coverage (not to exceed two (2) days per entry year teacher) and professional development.
Mentorship Program. Vertical Developer shall work with Developer to provide notice to BVHP Area Businesses no less than fifteen (15) days before any workshop that includes the Project’s contracting opportunities.
Mentorship Program. Under the Community Benefits Agreement, Developer has implemented (and is required thereunder to continue to implement or cause to be implemented) a Mentorship Program (as defined in the Community Benefits Agreement). The main goals of the Mentorship Program are to increase the volume of work that BVHP Area Contractors win in open competition, broaden the base of activity, increase the long-term stability, and expand the services in the construction industry of such BVHP Area Contractors. As of the Effective Date, the Mentorship Program Sponsor is Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center. At the request of Developer, Vertical Developer shall reasonably cooperate with Developer and the Mentorship Program Sponsor with respect to the Mentorship Program to the extent related to the Project, including by, as applicable, providing information for Developer’s reporting and workshop obligations under the Community Benefits Agreement. Vertical Developer shall display information about the Mentorship Program on its website for the Project, participate in Mentorship Program meetings at the request of Developer or the Mentorship Program Sponsor, and encourage participation in the Mentorship Program, working with both Mentors and Proteges to further the goals of the Mentorship Program and available opportunities for mentoring in the Project. In addition, Vertical Developer shall use good faith efforts to encourage its contractors to partner with BVHP Area SBEs (as defined in the SBE Policy) construction- related enterprises immediately and participate in the Mentorship Program that will provide measurable results for BVHP Area SBE construction-related enterprises. Vertical Developer shall require companies that bid on work for the Project to submit documentation that outlines their SBE experience, including the names of the SBE entities such companies have partnered with, the level of guidance and support offered to the SBE entity by such companies, and the level of success that these SBE enterprises have accomplished as part of their business or mentorship relationship with such companies. Contract bidders shall also be required to describe how they will utilize a SBE partner during the applicable phase of the Project.
Mentorship Program. Chabot students serve as mentors to HUSD elementary and middle school students, with a focus on increasing attendance, decreasing the number of behavioral incidents, and improving course work and academic performance. Mentors and mentees meet once a week at Xxxxxx College and attend at least one community event per quarter, including college visits and community service. Xxxxxx mentees will also participate in a summer enrichment program at Xxxxxx College. Target/Impact: Increase number of mentees served to 30 HUSD students
