MERIT STAFFING. Section 1. The Employer will conduct merit promotion and staffing in accordance with 5 CFR § 335. The Employer will consider, to the fullest extent possible, the skills and talents of its employees in the recruitment for vacant positions. This Agreement provides for concurrent consideration of employees, but does not restrict the right of the Employer to fill positions by methods other than promotion. Section 2. As outlined in 5 CFR § 335, the Employer will use selection procedures that preserve Employer’s ability to select or not select from among a group of best-qualified candidates or from other appropriate sources, such as reemployment priority lists, reinstatement, transfer, handicapped, Veterans Recruitment Appointment (VRA) eligible, or from those within reach on an appropriate Delegated Examining (DE) certificate. Section 3. Areas of consideration must be sufficiently broad to ensure the availability of high quality candidates, taking into account the nature and level of the positions covered. Employees are responsible for posting their resumes in the Army system for all open vacancies in which they desire consideration. Section 4. Promotion of employees will be made on the basis of merit. Normally, the order of consideration for filling vacancies will be as follows: a. Eligibles entitled to priority consideration or priority placement; and b. Merit promotion, reassignment or reinstatement eligibles, or any other appropriate source. Nothing in this Article shall affect the authority of the Employer with respect to filling positions and making selections for appointments from: (1) Among properly ranked and certified candidates for promotion; (2) Any other appropriate source. Section 5. Employees should utilize USAJOBS to conduct job searchs. USAJOBS provides an avenue for job alert notification. Section 6. A noncompetitive career promotion of an employee whose position has been reclassified to a higher grade or to a position with a higher representative rate because of the addition of duties or responsibilities will be made in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Section 7. Employees will not be required to use leave for the purpose of participating in tests when such tests are required under the Employer’s Merit Promotion Program. Section 8. Applicants will be notified as to whether or not they were referred on a merit promotion certificate. MERIT STAFFING. SECTION 1. Positions will be filled in accordance with the principles and procedures of the Federal Merit Promotion and Staffing Programs and applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and this agreement. SECTION 2. The employer may announce a bargaining unit position vacancy in whatever area they need to obtain a sufficient number of best qualified candidates for promotion. Posting of all in-house vacancies will be for at least 7 calendar days on all official bulletin boards and the union will be provided a copy of all position announcements. SECTION 3. Announcements may be extended to cover any amendments after the issue date. Copies of all amendments will be posted on all official bulletin boards. SECTION 4. Employees are encouraged to seek guidance from the employer if they are interested in learning about career opportunities within DeCA. These employees may be furnished information about lines of career progression, education requirements, available job opportunities, etc.

When applying for a promotion that has been advertised in a vacancy announcement, providing all information requested on the vacancy announcement by the closing date through the automated hiring system. Information not included will not be considered.   • Staffing There shall be a clinician employed by the outside contractor for EAP Services who will be on-site a minimum of 20 hours a week. The clinician shall report directly to the outside contractor, Peer Assistance Oversight Committee and the MIF liaison. There shall be three full-time Peer Assistants reporting to the outside contractor.

  • Project Staff Contractor shall appoint to the Project Staff: (i) individuals with suitable training and skills to provide the Work, and (ii) sufficient staffing to adequately provide the Work. Contractor shall make commercially reasonable efforts consistent with sound business practices to honor the specific request of the JBE with regard to assignment of its employees. The JBE may require Contractor to remove any personnel from the Project Staff that interact with any personnel of the Judicial Branch Entities or JBE Contractors (including, without limitation, the Contractor Project Manager) upon providing to Contractor a reason (permitted by law) for such removal. Contractor may, with the JBE’s consent, continue to retain such member of the Project Staff in a role that does not interact with any personnel of the Judicial Branch Entities or

  • Support Staff The College shall designate a clerical person on each campus whose primary responsibility will be to perform clerical duties related to workload assignments for Employees. Faculty assignments to the clerical person shall be given priority over non- faculty assignments. Any conflicts shall be reported to the Chief Academic Officer or to an academic officer of the College who holds the rank of Campus Director or higher. Employees will be notified of the identity of this person and the clerical person will be notified.

  • Staffing Plan The Board and the Association agree that optimum class size is an important aspect of the effective educational program. The Polk County School Staffing Plan shall be constructed each year according to the procedures set forth in Board Policy and, upon adoption, shall become Board Policy.

  • Minimum Staffing The Employer agrees to employ sufficient registered staff and health care aides/ Personal Support Workers to meet the staffing needs that may be set from time to time by statute and/or regulation. In the event that there is insufficient staffing to meet this undertaking, the Employer will post vacancies so that any unmet care undertaking will be satisfied. (a) The Employer will assign at least the same number of total bargaining unit RN hours that are equal to those hours that were scheduled in the last week ending prior to June 30, 2009. For clarity, this includes existing vacancies. (b) In the event the Employer cannot meet their ongoing obligation for scheduled RN hours in part (a) above, it shall so notify the Union and fully disclose the reasons thereof. (c) If the failure to staff is a legitimate recruitment issue, there shall be no violation of this Agreement. The Employer will make reasonable efforts to recruit a replacement and will provide the Union with an outline of recruitment activities. (d) Further, if there is a reduction in beds, occupancy levels or CMI or its equivalent below the levels in effect as of June 30, 2009, a reduction in the complement shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement, as long as the reduction is proportionate. (e) If there is any other reason for the failure to staff in accordance with this article, the Union and Employer will attempt to find a resolution and if unable to do so, the matter may be referred to Arbitration. (f) The Arbitrator/Arbitration Board will have authority to determine whether the reduction in staffing was appropriate and shall have jurisdiction to award an appropriate remedy.

  • Clinical Management for Behavioral Health Services (CMBHS) System 1. request access to CMBHS via the CMBHS Helpline at (000) 000-0000. 2. use the CMBHS time frames specified by System Agency. 3. use System Agency-specified functionality of the CMBHS in its entirety. 4. submit all bills and reports to System Agency through the CMBHS, unless otherwise instructed.

  • Executive Management The PH-MCO must include in its Executive Management structure: • A full-time Administrator with authority over the entire operation of the PH-MCO. • A full-time HealthChoices Program Manager to oversee the operation of the Agreement, if different than the Administrator. • A full-time Medical Director who is a current Pennsylvania-licensed physician. The Medical Director must be actively involved in all major clinical program components of the PH-MCO and directly participates in the oversight of the SNU, QM Department and UM Department. The Medical Director and his/her staff/consultant physicians must devote sufficient time to the PH-MCO to provide timely medical decisions, including after-hours consultation, as needed. • A full-time Pharmacy Director who is a current Pennsylvania-licensed pharmacist. The Pharmacy Director oversees the outpatient drug management and serves on the PH-MCO P&T Committee. • A Dental Director who is a current Pennsylvania-licensed Doctor of Dental Medicine or Doctor of Dental Surgery. The Dental Director may be a consultant or employee but must be available at a minimum of 30 hours per week. The Dental Director must be actively involved in all program components related to dental services including, but not limited to, dental provider recruitment strategy, assessment of dental network adequacy, providing oversight and strategic direction in the quality of dental services provided, actively engaged in the development and implementation of quality initiatives, and monitor the performance of the dental benefit manger if dental benefits are subcontracted. A full-time Director of Quality Management who is a Pennsylvania- licensed RN, physician or physician's assistant or is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality by the National Association for Healthcare Quality Certified in Healthcare Quality and Management by the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Providers. The Director of Quality Management must be located in Pennsylvania and have experience in quality management and quality improvement. Sufficient local staffing under this position must be in place to meet QM Requirements. The primary functions of the Director of Quality Management position are: • Evaluate individual and systemic quality of care • Integrate quality throughout the organization • Implement process improvement • Resolve, track, and trend quality of care complaints • Develop and maintain a credentialed Provider network • A full-time CFO to oversee the budget and accounting systems implemented by the PH-MCO. The CFO must ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all financial reports. The CFO shall devote sufficient time and resources to responsibilities under this Agreement. • A full-time Information Systems Coordinator, who is responsible for the oversight of all information systems issues with the Department. The Information Systems Coordinator must have a good working knowledge of the PH-MCO's entire program and operation, as well as the technical expertise to answer questions related to the operation of the information system. • These full time positions must be solely dedicated to the PA HealthChoices Program.

  • Service Management Effective support of in-scope services is a result of maintaining consistent service levels. The following sections provide relevant details on service availability, monitoring of in-scope services and related components.

  • Configuration Management The Contractor shall maintain a configuration management program, which shall provide for the administrative and functional systems necessary for configuration identification, control, status accounting and reporting, to ensure configuration identity with the UCEU and associated cables produced by the Contractor. The Contractor shall maintain a Contractor approved Configuration Management Plan that complies with ANSI/EIA-649 2011. Notwithstanding ANSI/EIA-649 2011, the Contractor’s configuration management program shall comply with the VLS Configuration Management Plans, TL130-AD-PLN-010-VLS, and shall comply with the following:
