Minimum Vacation Leave Clause Samples
The Minimum Vacation Leave clause establishes the baseline amount of paid time off that an employee is entitled to for vacation purposes. It typically specifies the minimum number of days or weeks of leave per year, and may outline eligibility requirements, accrual methods, or how unused leave is handled. Minimum Vacation Leave. (a) Vacation leave is to be taken, or banked as provided for in Clause 20.11, in the year that it is earned.
(b) Employees who have taken a minimum of fifteen (15) days of vacation leave by December 31st may bank one (1) week of their unused vacation allotment, subject to Clause 20.11.
Minimum Vacation Leave. The minimum annual leave will be two (2) shifts, following a four day period. The remainder of accumulated leave may be taken when the request for leave is submitted forty- eight (48) hours in advance, upon approval of the Fire Chief. The Fire Chief may at his/her sole discretion may waive the forty-eight (48) hour advance notice under this section.
Minimum Vacation Leave. Employees requesting to use vacation must take vacation in minimum one-half (1/2) hour increments.

Except to the extent all other leave (such as sick leave and personal leave) may be exhausted, and an officer may have to request and use vacation leave for purposes other than taking a vacation, vacation leave shall not be requested, approved or taken for periods of less than four (4) hours.

a. Paid vacation hours shall continue to accrue in accordance with the above provisions during any period of leave with pay.
b. All vacations shall be scheduled and taken in accordance with the best interests of the District.
c. The maximum amount of vacation that may be taken at any given time shall be that amount that will accrue to the employee at the conclusion of the scheduled period of leave.

Minimum Vacation Leave. Minimum time debited for vacation leave shall be four (4) hours per day except as provided for in Article 22.4 and Section 17.1 B.
