LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING # 2 (New Language)‌ Re: Shift Pick‌ The unit chair and/or designate, shall be given a copy of the proposed schedule on the first Monday in October. The Unit chair will review the proposed schedule within five (5) days. Any suggestions made by the Union to the Manager and Scheduling Supervisor regarding schedule changes will be reviewed and discussed. Shifts shall be posted by the first Monday in November. Shift Pick shall be completed no later than the first Monday of December, or as required due to schedule change. The new schedule shall go into effect in the first week of January. The parties may agree to extend the above timelines as a result of operational needs and business changes. Employees who are on vacation, or are on any other leave as contemplated in this collective agreement, shall leave their Shift Pick choices with the Unit Chair. Failure to pick a line will result in the employee being assigned the last remaining available shift line. Employees shall pick their shift according to their classification seniority. Relief Supervisors will have to choose one of the available relief lines presented. If there are insufficient relief lines for all the Relief Supervisors then the most senior Relief Supervisor may opt to choose one of the available operator lines based on his or her seniority. If there are as many relief lines as Relief Supervisors then any Relief Supervisor who refuses to choose a line will have to step down to the role of an Operator, if an Operator position exists, resulting in the loss of the Relief title. Such names may not be activated in the DNS, and may not be released for registration to any person or entity other than Registry Operator.   • BUY AMERICA ACT (National School Lunch Program and Breakfast Program With respect to products purchased by Customers for use in the National School Lunch Program and/or National School Breakfast Program, Contractor shall comply with all federal procurement laws and regulations with respect to such programs, including the Buy American provisions set forth in 7 C.F.R. Part 210.21(d), to the extent applicable. Contractor agrees to provide all certifications required by Customer regarding such programs. In the event Contractor or Contractor’s supplier(s) are unable or unwilling to certify compliance with the Buy American Provision, or the applicability of an exception to the Buy American provision, H-GAC Customers may decide not to purchase from Contractor. Additionally, H-GAC Customers may require country of origin on all products and invoices submitted for payment by Contractor, and Contractor agrees to comply with any such requirement.

  • Rehabilitation Program The company agrees to the implementation of an agreed worker’s compensation rehabilitation policy. The operation of this policy shall be reviewed on a regular basis. The parties commit to ensuring that the rehabilitation of injured workers is an accepted practice, and that suitable duties are provided when available. No employee will be terminated whilst on workers compensation during the first 12 months without prior consultation with the union. The parties agree that the person responsible for the management of rehabilitation cases must be adequately trained to do the job. If such a person is not available within the company, then the services of an agreed building industry rehabilitation coordination service will be used. The parties to this Agreement shall ensure that any employee who sustains a work related injury, illness or disease, will be afforded every assistance in utilising a rehabilitation program aimed at returning that employee to meaningful employment within the industry.

  • Orientation Program The Company will allow a designated representative of the Local or Bargaining Unit up to one (1) hour per calendar month for the purpose of conducting the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union New Members’ Orientation Program. Such meetings will be conducted during the probationary period of employees, and will be held on Company premises. Employees participating in Orientation Program meetings during their normally scheduled working hours will not suffer loss of pay at their regular rate. Orientation Program meetings will be scheduled by Management and a Management representative may attend as an observer.
