Non-Bargaining Unit Positions. Employees who return to the Bargaining Unit after having served in a supervisory/administrative capacity, shall retain all previously accumulated seniority as a member of the Bargaining Unit. No seniority shall accrue while serving as a supervisor/administrator.

Non-Bargaining Unit Positions. 2 The Hospital will provide the Association with written notice of all new non-bargaining unit 3 positions or job codes, with an RN license requirement and with a direct patient care job 4 component, at the same time as the new position is first posted.
Non-Bargaining Unit Positions. If an employee accepts a position with the Employer which is not included in the bargaining unit, and thereafter within six (6) months, returns to a position within the bargaining unit by the posting procedures of Article VII, the employee shall have accumulated seniority in the seniority classification of the bargaining unit from which the employee left for the time worked in the position not within the bargaining unit. Employees under the above circumstances shall retain all rights previously accrued in the bargaining unit for the purpose of any benefits provided in this Agreement.
Non-Bargaining Unit Positions. A. The Hospital agrees to provide notice of opportunities for advance of Nurses into management and supervisory positions at the Hospital and, where possible, will post notice of a vacancy in such a position on the designated Hospital bulletin boards for seven (7) calendar days prior to filling the vacancy. A Nurse desiring to be considered for such a position must make application therefore to the Vice President, Patient Care Services, or her designee. Nothing herein shall be construed as subjecting the Hospital’s exercise of discretion in filling such positions to the provisions of this Agreement.
B. Since it is the objective of both the Hospital and the Union to promote the advancement of nursing careers, a Nurse selected for a position pursuant to this Section may be returned, at her option or at the option of the Hospital, to her former Staff Nurse position, or to a position of like status and pay, within six (6) months, provided such a position exists and, in the judgment of the Hospital, needs to be filled. Hours worked in the new position during the six (6) month period shall be counted for purposes of seniority under this Agreement. If a position does not exist or need to be filled, the Hospital will attempt to place the Nurse in another position for which the Nurse possesses the requisite skill, qualifications, and ability, if one is determined by the Hospital to be available and suitable for this purpose. If the Nurse cannot be so placed, the Nurse will be given the option of displacing the least senior Nurse in Nursing Services, provided that the displacing Nurse possesses the skills, qualifications, and ability to meet all of the requirements of the displaced Nurse’s job immediately without training and providing that the displacing Nurse is able to assume the displaced Nurse’s schedule or, alternatively, the Nurse will be laid off and will be recalled to the first available vacancy for which she is qualified consistent with the provisions of this Article. A Nurse displaced by a returning Nurse shall have such displacement rights as she would be accorded in a long term reduction in force governed by Section 11.05.C of this Agreement.
C. While it is recognized that a principle function of a supervisor is to direct other employees, it shall not be a violation of this Agreement for a manager or supervisor to be periodically assigned to a Staff Nurse position or to perform bargaining unit work so long as staff is not involuntarily downsized, there...
Non-Bargaining Unit Positions. An employee who is promoted to a Sheriff’s Department position outside the bargaining unit shall continue to accumulate seniority while in such a position. If the Sheriff determines to return him to a bargaining unit position, he shall be credited with his former seniority that accumulated while outside the bargaining unit.
Non-Bargaining Unit Positions. An employee in a classification subject to the jurisdiction of the Union, who is promoted to outside the bargaining unit,. and is thereafter transferred or demoted to a classification subject to the jurisdiction of the Union, shall not accumulate seniority while working in a supervisory position if such position extends beyond twelve (12) months from date of promotion. If the Sheriff determines to transfer an employee back to a position within the bargaining unit, such employee shall maintain the seniority rank he had at the time of his promotion.
Non-Bargaining Unit Positions. In the event a bargaining unit employee is transferred to a non-bargaining unit position, the employee shall cease to accumulate seniority while in such non-bargaining unit position. Thereafter, if the employee returns to an open bargaining unit position the employee shall be credited with his/her previous accrued seniority.

Non-Bargaining Unit Positions contained herein shall be construed to include in the bargaining unit any person whose duties 21 as deputy, administrative assistant, or secretary necessarily imply a confidential relationship to the 22 Board of Directors or superintendent of the District pursuant to RCW 41.56.030.
