NON-DISCRIMINATION PROVISION. The Board agrees that all members of the Bargaining Unit are entitled to full rights of citizenship regardless of the race, color, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, veteran's status, military status, religion, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity, age or gender of an employee. Moreover,
A. Bargaining Unit Members have the right to participate or not participate in professional and civic organizations for their personal benefit and interest without fear of reprisal or discipline in any form.
B. Bargaining Unit Members have the right to exercise their constitutional rights without fear of reprisal or discipline in any form.
C. Bargaining Unit Members may wear on their person pins, or other identification of membership in an organization, civic, or professional.
D. No Bargaining Unit Member(s) shall be required by Board policy or Administrative decision to perform any duty that will threaten his/her personal safety or well-being.
E. The private personal life of any Bargaining Unit Member is not within the appropriate concern or attention of the Board as a condition of employment as long as it does not interfere with his/her teaching duties and effectiveness as determined through evaluation.
NON-DISCRIMINATION PROVISION. The Board shall not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, sex (including sexual orientation), disability, age, religion, or military status in its programs and activities, including employment opportunities.
NON-DISCRIMINATION PROVISION. The Contractor agrees to post in conspicuous places, available to employees and applicants for employment, notices setting forth the provisions of this nondiscrimination clause.
(b) The Contractor, in all solicitations or advertisements for employees placed by or on behalf of Contractor, will state that Contractor is an equal opportunity employer.
(c) Notices, advertisements and solicitations placed in accordance with federal law, rule or regulation shall be deemed sufficient for the purpose of meeting the requirements of this section. Contractor shall include the provisions of the foregoing subparagraphs a, b, and c in every subcontract or purchase order over $10,000 so that the provisions will be binding upon each subcontractor or vendor.

The parties agree not to discriminate or harass individuals on the basis of sex, race, color, creed, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, gender, gender identification, transgender, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, genetic information, U.S. veteran status, or any other status that may become protected under U.S. and South Dakota law against discrimination.
NON-DISCRIMINATION PROVISION a. The provisions of existing and future MOU shall be applied equally to all unit employees without discrimination as to age, sex, marital status, religion, race, color, creed, national origin, or political or union affiliation.
b. IPOA and the City shall share equally the responsibility of applying these provisions.
NON-DISCRIMINATION PROVISION a. The parties mutually recognize and agree to protect the rights of all employees hereby to join or participate in protected Union activities or to refrain from joining or participating in protected activities as set forth in accordance with the City’s Resolution #7177 Employer/Employee Relations Resolution as amended by the parties, and Government Code Sections 3500 as amended, et. seq.
b. The City and the Union agree that they shall not discriminate against any employee because of race, color, sex, age, handicap, national origin, political or religious opinions or affiliations, union affiliation or sexual orientation. The City and the Union shall reopen any provisions of this Agreement for the purpose of complying with any final order of a Federal or State agency or court of competent jurisdiction requiring a modification or change in any provision or provisions of this Agreement in compliance with State or Federal anti-discrimination laws.
c. Whenever the masculine gender is used in this MOU, it shall be understood to include the feminine gender.
NON-DISCRIMINATION PROVISION. 1. No employee will be discriminated against by either party because of race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, disabled veteran or veteran of Vietnam era, union affiliation and activity, political affiliation and activity, marital status or age.
