Off Duty Training. The City will make every reasonable effort to schedule training on-duty. If training is required for an employee who is off-duty, the City agrees to provide a minimum of two (2) hours at time and one-half (1-1/2).

Off Duty Training. The CST will provide sixteen (16) hours of off-duty training per fiscal year for 24 team members to develop and maintain proper skills. Off-Duty training shall not replace required on-duty special team training. WRT will provide sixteen (16) hours of off-duty training per fiscal year for 36 team members to develop and maintain proper skills. Off-duty training shall not replace required on-duty special team training.
Off Duty Training. For all special courses approved by the Fire Chief or the Deputy Fire Chief that are attended by a full-time Firefighter, while off duty, the Firefighter shall be paid at the rate of straight time for all hours attended. This clause will not be in effect when a full-time Firefighter attends courses at the Ontario Fire College. It is understood by both parties that attendance at any special courses is voluntary on the part of the Employee.
Off Duty Training. For any schooling, all department meetings or in-service training assigned by the Employer occurring on a leave day or off-duty time, the employee will be paid time and one-half (1½). This does not preclude adjustments in leave days to provide for attendance on regular straight time if mutually agreed to by the Employer and employee.
Off Duty Training. All approved, mandated off-duty training time for employees to achieve and maintain the necessary level of training shall be paid at the overtime rate in accordance with Article 6.3 of the current Labor Agreement. If the training duration is three (3) or more consecutive calendar days, the Fire Chief may assign employees to an eight (8) hour work per day schedule. If an employee is assigned to an eight (8) hour per day work schedule, the following conditions shall apply:
Off Duty Training. In cases of Officers attending courses mandated by Florida State Police Standards Commission where the Officer, upon completion, receives state incentive compensation, the City retains the right to alter days off for the period so as not to pay overtime. Off-duty training for weapon proficiency shall be paid at the overtime rate for each hour in training. Officers failing to qualify at this monthly session will receive no overtime for future sessions where the Officer attempts to qualify.

The Water Rescue Team will provide eight (8) hours of off-duty training per fiscal year for 36 team members to develop and maintain proper skills. Off-duty training shall not replace required on-duty special team training.

  • DUTY TRAVEL 40.01 An employee who is authorized to travel on Employer business will be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred.

  • Safety Training Pursuant to Missouri Revised Statute Section 292.675, Contractors and subcontractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Contractors and subcontractors in violation of this provision will forfeit to the public body $2,500 plus $100 a day for each employee who is employed without training. Public bodies and contractors may withhold/assess these penalties from the payment due to those contractors and subcontractors if found to be in non-compliance.

  • Required Training For training that is required by the Agency, manager or supervisor, the Agency shall reimburse one hundred percent (100%) of all related necessary and legitimate expenses, including but not limited to tuition, books, travel expenses, travel time, and attendance time. When practical, the Agency will attempt to adjust the employee’s hours if the approved training activity is scheduled during the employee’s normal work hours.

  • Off the Job Training Where it is agreed that an employee undertakes job related training provided by the Employer or by a Third Party, that training may be undertaken either on or off the job. Where courses are available during normal working hours, the employee has first option of attending training at these times. If such training is undertaken during normal working hours, the employee concerned will not suffer any loss of pay. Where the Employer requires an employee to undertake mandatory job related training after hours, single time rates shall apply. Any costs associated with standard fees for prescribed courses and prescribed textbooks (except those textbooks which are available in the Employer's technical library) incurred in connection with the undertaking of training will be reimbursed by the Employer upon production of evidence of such expenditure. Provided that reimbursement will also be on an annual basis subject to the presentation of reports of satisfactory progress. Travel costs incurred by an employee undertaking training in accordance with this clause which exceed those normally incurred in travelling to and from work will be reimbursed by the Employer.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Staff Training 3.3.5.1 The CONTRACTOR shall provide regular and ongoing comprehensive training for CONTRACTOR staff to ensure that they understand the goals of Centennial Care 2.0, including the integration of physical, Long-Term Care and Behavioral Health, the provisions and limitations of the ABP and the requirements of this Agreement. As issues are identified by the CONTRACTOR and/or HSD, the CONTRACTOR shall provide timely and targeted training to staff.

  • Employee Training The Provider shall provide periodic security training to those of its employees who operate or have access to the system. Further, Provider shall provide LEA with contact information of an employee who LEA may contact if there are any security concerns or questions.

  • Annual Training The Governing Board shall receive initial training and annual training thereafter. Pursuant to O.C.G.A §20-2-2072 and relevant State Board rules, the training shall include, but not be limited to, best practices on school governance, the constitutional and statutory requirements relating to public records and meetings, and the requirements of applicable statutes and rules and regulations.
