Outline of the Study. The study consists of six chapters. The first chapter provides general information about the research. It contains information about the background and statement of the problem, research questions, and purpose of the research. The second chapter includes an in-depth literature review. It explores what ‘teacher autonomy’ is in terms of previously done studies in various contexts. The information on what types of institutional and teacher autonomy there are and whether earlier studies revealed any connection between the teacher autonomy and job satisfaction and motivation. Next, the Methodology chapter describes the methods used in this research. I describe how and why I chose mixed methods for my study and how I selected the research participants. I also describe in depth the process of analysing qualitative and quantitative data and the software I used during this stage. The fourth section of my study contains the findings. I present the two parts of findings separately: qualitative and quantitative. Then, I attempt to compare the results of two methods to each other. Chapter five contains the discussion part of my research and it is followed by the final section, Conclusion and Recommendations. I discuss the results of my study and present my view on the implications of this study.

It discusses intrinsic and extrinsic motivational factors affecting teachers along with some demotivational aspects such as intensification of teachers’ jobs caused by the current school curriculum reforms and its implementation challenges for teachers. Finally, it includes data analysis methods followed by ethics and discusses the limitations of the study. The final chapter provides a summary of the key findings as well as identifies major limitations and further research suggestions. It also provides recommendations arrived at from the study concerning policy and practice.

Outline of the Study. This study consists of five chapters covering the following content:
i. Chapter 1 is the introduction to the study and explains the scope of the research including the background and contribution of this study, the problem statement, research questions, research objectives, methodology and ethical issues.
ii. Chapter 2 is a review of the relevant literature defining what Fintech is and how it has evolved around the world. Other literature reviews are conducted into financial services in South Africa and South Africa as an emerging market.
iii. Chapter 3 explains the research methodology and design. This chapter includes research paradigms, methods of study, measuring instruments and ethical issues. All these concepts are defined, and those used in this study discussed in greater detail.
iv. Chapter 4 highlights the empirical results that was obtained from the qualitative data used. It also includes the research methods uses, data collection method that was applied and the analysis of the data.
v. Chapter 5 discusses the managerial implications of these results and concludes the study. The main findings are reported as well as the limitations that occurred. Recommendations are made on the findings and areas of further research identified.

The empirical studies reviewed focus on teacher collaboration and teacher professional development in a range of contexts. It also studied different factors that influenced teachers' collaborative learning. Finally, this chapter includes a critical analysis and synthesis of all the studied literature sources. The third chapter provides detailed information on the methodological approach and justifies the choice of it. The chapter explains the choice of research site and participants. Next, there is information provided about the research instrument and the data collection procedure is described step by step. Finally, this chapter describes the process of data analysis, provides detailed information on ethical issues and describes measures of research quality relevant to the study. The fourth chapter presents the findings which were revealed after careful data analysis. The findings were grouped into the four following themes: 1) Teachers identified co-planning as the main collaborative actions 2) Teachers agree on the necessity of pedagogical knowledge, content knowledge and soft skills for effective collaboration, 3) Teachers support collaboration as a tool for professional development, 4) Teachers suggest voluntary collaboration as the ideal teacher professional collaboration. The findings chapter is followed by the fifth chapter where the findings are discussed in relation to the reviewed literature and the research questions. The sixth chapter Conclusions and Recommendations summarises the main findings and suggests recommendations for policy, practice and future research. The thesis concludes with a summary of the significance to education in Kazakhstan.

Next, the findings chapter examines both quantitative and qualitative outcomes, while the discussion chapter considers these results. Finally, the conclusion chapter provides recommendations for policymakers and educators based on the analysis of received data. Chapter 2: Literature Review The aim of the following chapter is to analyze the concepts of linguistic discrimination, language anxiety, and language learning attitude while elaborating on empirical research within each topic area. Also, considered are the concepts of linguistic discrimination, language anxiety, and language learning attitudes in the context of Kazakhstan, which help to elaborate on the purpose of the given study – to investigate the perceived linguistic discrimination and experienced language anxiety of ethnic Kazakh Russian-dominant speakers in the Kazakh-speaking environment and explore the impact of both phenomena on Kazakh language learning attitude – and help to answer the research questions:

Firstly, the introduction will cover the details of the study, such as the background information on the topic, statement of the problem, research purpose and research questions, including the rationale for selecting this research area and its significance. The literature review chapter will examine the notion of national identity and its relationship to the Kazakhstani context. Furthermore, the analysis of relevant concepts, such as investment, imagined identity and imagined community will be presented. Next, the part on the methodology will justify the choice of mixed methods research with an explanatory sequential design which is based on a survey and interviews. In this part, the sample, sites, data collection and data analysis procedures will be defined. The results chapter will provide findings from both quantitative and qualitative research with the data discussed separately in the following section. Ultimately, the conclusion will be based on the summary of the findings, the limitations and implications of the study and recommendations for future investigations.
