Overtime for Shift. Workers Employees working on a shift basis will be paid overtime according to Article 29. Where such overtime runs contiguous with evening or night shift, the hourly rate for computation of overtime will be used, and, the proper shift differential for the number of hours worked will be added after the calculation of overtime pay is made.
Overtime for Shift. Workers For all employees engaged on shiftwork or continuous shift work, all time worked in excess of the rostered shift will be considered as overtime, and will be paid for at double time rates.
Overtime for Shift sick calls shall be filled from the shift immediately prior to the shift that is shorted by seniority. If no employee volunteers for the shift, then the least senior officer from the immediately prior shift shall be held over. Calls for shift overtime will be distributed in the following manner: 1) Uniformed patrol officers; 2) Uniformed specialized officers; and 3)
Overtime for Shift workers For all time worked outside or in excess of the arranged ordinary shift hours or a changed roster pursuant to 31.2, shift workers shall be paid at time and a half for the first 2 hours and double time thereafter. Provided that for shifts, the major portion of which falls on a Sunday or a public holiday, all overtime shall be paid at the rate of double time. Employees who are required to return to work prior to a 10 hour break being taken following completion of their shift will be paid at the rate of double time for all hours worked, until a 10 hour break can be taken.
