Overtime for Shift. Workers Employees working on a shift basis will be paid overtime according to Article 29. Where such overtime runs contiguous with evening or night shift, the hourly rate for computation of overtime will be used, and, the proper shift differential for the number of hours worked will be added after the calculation of overtime pay is made.

Overtime for Shift. Workers For all employees engaged on shiftwork or continuous shift work, all time worked in excess of the rostered shift will be considered as overtime, and will be paid for at double time rates.

Provided that for shifts, the major portion of which falls on a Sunday or a public holiday, all overtime shall be paid at the rate of double time. Employees who are required to return to work prior to a 10 hour break being taken following completion of their shift will be paid at the rate of double time for all hours worked, until a 10 hour break can be taken.

  • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.
