An Overtime Guarantee clause ensures that employees are compensated for any hours worked beyond their standard work schedule. Overtime Guarantee. The overtime guarantees set forth herein shall not be applied to those situations where the employee is attending a prescheduled meeting; or to attend a required court hearing as a witness in connection with their City employment. In such cases the employee shall be guaranteed two (2) hours pay at the appropriate overtime rate.
Overtime Guarantee. Regular full-time employees who volunteer to perform work on their scheduled day off shall be guaranteed therefore, four (4) hours of work or the equivalent thereof in pay at one and one-half (1½) times the regular hourly wage rate applicable to the classification to which they are assigned on such work.
