Overtime Penalty rates All overtime hours worked by the Employee outside the ordinary hours will be paid on their base rate of pay as follows: Day Penalty Monday to Saturday Time and one half (150%) for first 2 hours, and double time thereafter (200%) Sunday Double time (200%) Public Holiday Double time and one-half (250%)
Overtime Penalty. Rates Employees on rostered standby, called out on emergency work, shall be entitled to payment for such work from the time of leaving home to commence that work until they return home from such work, but they must return home within a reasonable time and payment shall be calculated as follows:  Monday to Friday (inclusive) – All overtime worked shall be paid for at the rate of time and one- half for the first three (3) hours worked and double time thereafter;  Saturday – All overtime worked shall be paid for at the rate of double time;  Sunday – All overtime worked shall be paid for at the rate of double time;  Public Holiday – All overtime worked shall be paid for at the rate of double time and one-half. No additional time will be added to an Employee’s annual leave for the public holiday on which the Employee is required to be on call. Minimum payment for Call Outs – A minimum payment of one and a half (1.5) hour will apply. The minimum payment shall only apply to the first call out on any given day or night.

  • Work Hour Penalty Eight hours of labor constitute a legal day's work, and forty hours constitute a legal week's work. Pursuant to Section 1813 of the Labor Code of the State of California, the Contractor shall forfeit to the County Twenty Five Dollars ($25) for each worker employed in the execution of this Contract by the Contractor or by any subcontractor for each calendar day during which such worker is required or permitted to work more than the legal day's or week's work, except that work performed by employees of said Contractor and subcontractors in excess of the legal limit shall be permitted without the foregoing penalty upon the payment of compensation to the workers for all hours worked in excess of eight hours per day of not less than 1-1/2 times the basic rate of pay.

  • Overtime Pay a) A casual employee shall be entitled to overtime pay in accordance with Article 27.05 in the following circumstances:

  • Overtime Payment Full-time employees shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half times the employee's straight time hourly rate for all time worked outside of their normal work hours and/or work days up to sixteen (16) hours in a twenty-four (24) hour period. For hours worked in excess of sixteen (16) in a twenty-four (24) hour period, employees shall be paid double time. Employees who receive an unpaid lunch period and are not required to work at their work assignments during such period shall not have such time treated as hours worked for the purpose of computing overtime.

  • Overtime Procedure It will be considered necessary overtime when a sergeant must continue working past his/her regularly scheduled hours of employment to fulfill his/her duty. Administrative approval must first be obtained, provided an administrator is on duty. The sergeant shall give a reasonable account of his/her overtime on his/her daily log. Any denial by the Sheriff to pay overtime shall be accompanied by a written explanation. The employee may appeal the denial of the Sheriff to the grievance procedure contained herein.

  • Overtime Payments (1) Subject to the provisions of this subclause, all work performed outside of the Ordinary Hours and time worked to accrue an RDO on any day, Monday to Friday, inclusive, shall be paid for at the rate of time and one half for the first two hours and double time thereafter.

  • Civil Penalty Payment Pursuant to Health and Safety Code § 25249.7(b)(2), and in settlement of all claims alleged in the Notice or referred to in this Settlement Agreement, ZB agrees to pay two thousand ($2,000.00) in civil penalties.
