Part-time Seniority. (a) Seniority for part-time employees shall be defined as the length of service with the Co-operative from the employee’s date of promotion to part-time from Courtesy Clerk or if hired directly as a part-time employee since the employee’s most recent date of continuous employment as a part-time employee. Part-time employees will have seniority within the part-time seniority list in the store, subject to sub-articles 17.23 and 17.25.
Part-time Seniority. Part-time employees will have seniority only over other part-time employees.
Part-time Seniority. Part-time employees shall accrue seniority on a pro rata basis.
Part-time Seniority. 9:03(a) Part-time seniority shall be “the start date” as indicated on the part-time seniority listing dated December 4, 1996. All employees subsequently hired after this date shall have a seniority date based on their first day worked. In the event that two or more employees have the same start date, seniority will be determined by drawing lots.
Part-time Seniority. The service of a part-time employee shall be determined on a pro-rata basis calculated on the number of hours paid. For purposes of conversion, the number of hours to equal to one
Part-time Seniority. Part-time employees hired after December 2, 1992 will accumulate seniority specific to the department to which they are assigned. In the event that Management chooses to assign an employee to another department for other than a temporary period, the employee’s seniority date will not be altered as a result of such assignment.
Part-time Seniority i) Seniority for part-time nurses will be expressed in number of years and will accumulate on the basis of hours paid in the bargaining unit from the last date of hire, except as otherwise provided herein. It is recognized that fifteen hundred (1500) hours paid equals one (1) year of full-time service. The seniority list shall also reflect the equivalent number of hours paid which correspond to the number of years noted on the seniority list. All hours worked by casual nurses will be recorded with accumulation calculated for the purpose of determining scheduling, seniority, wage increases and/or other forms of renumeration.
Part-time Seniority. A. An employee shall not accumulate full-time seniority (company, classification and bargaining unit) while in a part-time status. If a full-time employee is granted a change to part-time status, the employee’s full-time seniority shall be frozen.
Part-time Seniority. Assignment of classes subject to part-time seniority will be made in a manner consistent with the definition, qualification, accrual, and maintenance of part-time seniority in this Article. Part-time seniority is qualified for and is accrued for assignment and teaching in families of courses.
Part-time Seniority. In the event a part-time employee becomes a full-time employee, such employee shall be credited for time of service on a prorated basis; i.e., 4 years as a part-time, 4-hour per day employee, equals 2 years full time credit when the employee becomes a full-time employee; this time to be used to compute advancement on wage and benefit schedules. All years of service for all employees under this contract shall be applicable.
