Paydays and Pay Periods. Monthly salaried employees are paid once each month. Other than those issued for work in December, checks for the current month's work are presented and payable the last working day of the month. On each payday the Company will provide each employee with an itemized statement identifying items or issues such as wages, hours worked and deductions.

Compensation for Head Secretaries shall be paid in twelve (12) equal installments due on the twenty-fifth (25th) of each month, beginning with August. Head Secretaries will receive their June and July checks in two separate payments on the 25th of June. If the twenty-fifth (25th) falls on a Saturday or a Sunday, the payday shall be on Friday. If the twenty-fifth (25th) falls on a holiday, payday shall be the last working day prior to the holiday. Exception(s): November payday shall be the last student day prior to Thanksgiving Day. Secretaries hired prior to July 1, 2017 shall be paid in June on the same day as teachers.
ii. Paydays shall be the twenty-fifth (25th) of each month. Compensation for Custodians, Educational Assistants, Cooks, Crew Leaders and Assistant Secretaries shall be paid in twelve (12) equal installments due on the twenty- fifth (25th) of each month, beginning with September. Educational Assistants, Cooks, Crew Leaders and Assistant Secretaries will receive their June, July, and August checks in three separate payments on the 25th of June. If the twenty-fifth (25th) falls on a Saturday or a Sunday, the payday shall be on Friday. If the twenty-fifth (25th) falls on a holiday, payday shall be the last working day prior to the holiday. Exception: November payday shall be the last student day prior to Thanksgiving Day. Exceptions to twelve (12) equal installments:
a. No more than two (2) pay period adjustments that affect an employee’s current status of “twelve (12) equal installments” are allowed. On the third pay period adjustment, the twelve (12) equal installment status will be revoked for the remainder of the school year.
b. An employee or the District may request a temporary out of position placement without penalty to the employee’s twelve (12) equal installment status.
c. If the District identifies a position that it believes will have inconsistent hours that will result in regular workday payroll adjustments, the employee will be advised that the twelve (12) equal installment option is not available.
d. Any scheduled work day that is canceled and rescheduled will not affect the employee’s twelve (12) equal installment status unless the employee fails to work on the rescheduled day. Pay periods shall begin on the 16th of each month and end on the 15th of each month.

(a) Any error in an employee’s base pay will be corrected by the end of the pay week, provided the employee has notified the payroll department (or the payroll department’s designee) before the pay is issued. Any error in an employee’s overtime pay will be corrected no later than three business days after the issuance of the employee’s regular pay. Errors for the purpose of this section shall include overpayments as well as underpayments.
