PLANT RULES. Rules and regulations shall be established for the common guidance of all Employees in the plant. Failure to abide by these rules will result in disciplinary action. All questions or disputes regarding the application, interpretation and enforcement of Rules & Regulations as described above shall be subject to the provisions of the Grievance Procedure of the Agreement.

PLANT RULES. Within thirty calendar days of the effective date of this Agreement, the Company will publish a set of plant rules, such rules not to be inconsistent with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement. The penalties for violation of such rules are listed below. It is understood by all parties, that such notice to the Union does not constitute acceptance by the Union and that the Union reserves the right to take issue with the application of any rule as well as any penalty assessed. Penalties for the rules will be fixed as follows: Category 1- discipline for offenses of any of this set of rules will be: 1st = Documented verbal warning or reminder of plant rules. 2nd = written warning. 3rd = up to three day suspension without pay. 4th = up to five day suspension without pay. 5th = Discharge The Company will investigate the circumstances of the alleged violation. The employee may be suspended during this time. The Employee will be reinstated or terminated, depending on the outcome of the investigation. Discipline for violating a Category II rule will either be a final written warning and suspension or termination. If the Employee is cleared of the rule violation, full pay restitution will be made. If the Employee is terminated, pay will cease at the point of suspension. During any and all of the above proceedings a Union Representative will be present. • In determining the next penalty to be assessed, no warning or suspension over 12 months old will be considered • All copies of warnings and suspensions and discharges will be given to the Union at the same time the employee receives it • Each warning or suspension will state what the penalty for the next offense will be When, in the opinion of the Company, disciplinary action is in order, it will be administered in a timely fashion (usually within five working days after the day of the offense). However, the Company may take additional time, as reasonably required, to conduct a thorough investigation before administering disciplinary action.
PLANT RULES. The purpose of these rules is to define for everyone the level of conduct which is expected of Bristol Piping Systems employees in their relationships with the Employer as well as with their fellow employees, and to publicize such rules widely so as to encourage individual self-discipline and thereby eliminate any need for the imposition of penalties. These rules have been established to encourage efficiency and safety of operation in our plant which, in turn, leads to the operation of a successful business enterprise, which can furnish all of us a pleasant, rewarding and secure place to earn a livelihood for ourselves and our families. In general, the prescribed discipline for violations of Plant Rules is corrective and gives the employee ample opportunity to work within its framework; however, violation of some rules under certain circumstances is considered so serious that discharge is necessary. Violations of the following rules will be considered cause for disciplinary action up to and including discharge for the 1st offense.
PLANT RULES. LESSEE undertakes the duty to control movement of its employees, contractors, suppliers and other invitees and shall limit their movements to the Premises by and through LESSEE’s Access Rights. While off the Premises on LESSOR’s Property, LESSEE shall obey and cause its employees and contractors to obey all of LESSOR’s rules and regulations which are contained in the most recent written form provided to LESSEE in accordance with the Notice provisions in Article 17 of this Lease.

These rules are not intended to restrict rights of employees, but to help employees by defining and protecting the rights of all. The following infractions may result in the Company taking disciplinary action up to and including discharge. 1) Failure to record time of arrival or departure from premises. Intentionally punching the time card of another employee or arranging for/permitting another employee to punch your time card. 2) Failure to notify the Company of your intended absence from work one hour prior to the start of your shift; or failure to notify the Company twenty-four (24) hours in advance of a return to work. 3) Failure to maintain punctuality and regular attendance at work. You are expected to be ready to commence work at the starting time and immediately after an authorized break or lunch period. 4) Leaving your own work area or department or the plant without permission of your supervisor. 5) Entering/exiting the plant through unauthorized entrances/exits. 6) Insubordination, incompetence or negligence. 7) Smoking in prohibited areas. 8) Wasting time, loitering during working hours or washing up before quitting time unless authorized to do so. 9) Fighting, horseplay, running or other unbecoming conduct on Company premises. 10) Sleeping while on duty. 11) Possessing, drinking, using or being under the influence of drugs or alcoholic beverages on Company premises at any time. (This includes reporting for work in an unfit condition). 12) Falsification of records or reports. 13) Abuse, destruction, neglect or defacing the property of the Company or its employees or any property left on Company premises. 14) Interfering with or obstructing production. 15) Continued failure to use personal protective equipment. 16) Creating or contributing to unsanitary conditions. 17) Disregard for safe working practices. 18) Theft of the property of the Company or its employees or any property left on Company premises. 19) Parking vehicles in prohibited areas. 20) Any other action or behavior against the good contact and efficient operation of the plant, or which common sense would not permit.
PLANT RULES. The Union recognizes that it is necessary for the Employer to issue and post rules from time to time governing the conduct of employees and that it is the duty of each employee to familiarize himself with such rules and regulations. The Company shall have the right to post such rules and regulations provided they are not in violation of this Agreement.
PLANT RULES. (a) The plant rules as posted on Company bulletin boards as of January 1, of the year of signing this Collective Agreement, and supplied to the Union (b) The Company will discuss any changes or additions, to these rules with the Union prior to their implementation.

PLANT RULES. 30 AGREEMENT This Agreement made as of this twenty-seventh day of January 1996, by and between Teamsters Local Union No. 229, affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Chauffeurs, Warehousemen and Helpers of America (hereinafter referred to as the "Union"), party of the first part, as representative of the employees covered by this Agreement, and Xxxxxx Distribution - Scranton (hereinafter referred to as the "Employer" or "Company"), party of the second part. It is the intent and purpose of the parties hereto to set forth herein the basic Agreement covering wages, hours of work, conditions of employment, and the method of adjusting alleged grievances to be observed between the parties hereto. The parties hereto also recognize that it is the general purpose of this Agreement to promote the mutual interests of the Company and its employees and to provide for the operation of the Company's business under methods which will further, to the fullest extent possible, the economy and efficiency of operation and avoidance of interruption to production, consistent at all times with the Company's obligations under this collective bargaining Agreement. The Union and the Company separately and jointly agree that all terms and conditions of this Agreement will be applied equally to all employees regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, national origin, handicap or Vietnam veterans. Wherein the text of this Agreement, words or masculine gender are used, they shall be interpreted to denote either masculine or female gender.
PLANT RULES. Each party shall, and shall take appropriate measures to ensure that its employees and agents shall, comply in all material respects with all rules and regulations in effect at the premises of the other party, including any security requirements. No party shall stop, delay or interfere with the work schedule of the other party without the prior approval of such other party.
