Professional Committee. The Professional Committee referred to in Article 9.02, shall include two (2) representatives of the Association, one of whom will be the Bargaining Unit President or designate. If the Hospital decides to have more than two (2) representatives on this committee, then the Association will increase its membership representation accordingly.

Professional Committee. The parties agree to the formation of a committee comprised by 1 RN, 1 RPN and 1 CLAC Representation and Employer representatives to discuss issues specific to registered staff. Such committee shall meet two (2) times per year.
Professional Committee. A Professional Committee, composed of the Medical Officer of Health, the Chief Nursing Officer, and two (2) members of the nursing staff shall meet at the request of either party to consider matters of policy regarding nursing practice not covered in this Agreement. The party requesting the meeting shall submit an agenda of items to be discussed, with the request.
Professional Committee. Objective: to provide a forum for the professional teaching staff to be involved in the decision making process, serve as a resource for the administrative staff on issues involving instruction and curriculum, and provide professional input. These individuals will serve as the steering committee: subsequent subcommittees will be formed depending on the needed areas of expertise. Subcommittees will gather research, opinions, evaluate texts etc., as the situation deems appropriate, come to a consensus decision and submit their recommendations to the steering committee.
Professional Committee. The Association shall be represented in the grievance procedure, special conferences, and negotiations by a Professional Rights and Responsibility Committee, hereafter referred to as the PR & R Committee. The Committee will be composed of a maximum of three (3) members of the local Nurses Staff Council which will include the Chairperson, the Co-Chairperson and one Committee member who is chosen by the members of the Staff Council. Two (2) members of the Committee will be recognized for paid time for the purpose of Contract negotiations with the Employer.
Professional Committee. PSYCHIATRISTS The County and the Union agree to dissolve the MEDICAL PRACTICE COMMITTEE and to establish a PROFESSIONAL COMMITTEE consisting of three bargaining unit members and three management members. The objective of the committee shall be to make recommendations regarding medical policies and procedures to the Medical Director of the Department of Mental Health. The committee shall meet quarterly or as often as the committee deems necessary, during working hours and address the following issues:

Professional Committee. 9.01 To facilitate discussions of professional issues, the parties to this Agreement shall establish a “Professional Committee” consisting of the Deputy Minister and two (2) representatives appointed by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development; and, the Executive Director of the Union and two (2) representatives appointed by the Union.
Professional Committee. Registered Professional Nurses employed by the Health Department shall be represented by a Professional Rights and Responsibilities Committee (PR & R Committee) composed of up to four (4) members. They will be nurses employed at the Health Department and their selection will be in a manner determined by the nurses. The Employer will recognize the Professional Rights and Responsibilities Committee members as representatives of the Association in the administration of the provisions of the Agreement, grievance procedure or to conduct Labor Relations related business. Release time will be arranged with prior approval of the Department Head or designee. The Association will keep the Employer informed in writing of the nurses names and their alternates who are members of this Committee. The alternates shall serve only in the absence of the regular members of the Committee. The PR & R Committee shall process grievances at all levels of the procedure with no more than two designated representatives present. However, the Committee or the Employer may request participation of a representative(s) of the Michigan Nurses Association State Office once the grievance reaches Step 2.
