Programmatic Audit. During the February or March Board meeting, AHCS’s Board, with assistance from the Principal, will appoint a committee consisting of least one Board member, the Principal, one teacher, two AHCS parents, and two persons at large (not affiliated with AHCS) who will conduct a programmatic audit each year targeting the parameters of this petition. The audit will be conducted as required by section 33-5205(3)(k), Idaho Code, and the conclusions will be reported to the Authorized Chartering Entity with suggestions for policy and program changes intended to improve the educational services provided to the students. The programmatic audit report will also be included in an annual report to the Authorized Chartering Entity and submitted no later than October 15.

Programmatic Audit. The Charter School will compile and provide to the School District an annual performance audit. This audit will, at a minimum, include the following data: • Summary data showing student progress toward the goals and outcomes specified in the Charter from assessment instruments and techniques listed in Charter. • Information regarding the number of students taking and passage rate of the High School Exit Exam if applicable. • An analysis of whether student performance is meeting the goals specified in Charter. This data will be displayed on both a school-wide basis and disaggregated by major racial and ethnic categories to the extent feasible without compromising student confidentiality and be based on the STAR program of the State of California. The Charter School will be responsible for ordering, training and monitoring the STAR testing program. • Data on the level of parent involvement in the school’s governance (and other aspects of the school, if applicable) and summary data from an annual parent and student satisfaction survey. • Data regarding the number of staff working at the school and their qualifications. The Charter School will be responsible for ensuring their staff is NCLB complaint. • A copy of the school’s health and safety policies and/or a summary of any major change to those policies during the year. Information demonstrating whether the school implemented the means listed in Charter to achieve a racially and ethnically balanced student population. • An overview of the school’s admissions practices during the year and data regarding the numbers of students enrolled and the number on waiting lists if any. • Analysis of the effectiveness of the school’s internal and external dispute mechanisms and data on the number and resolution of disputes and complaints if any. • Other information regarding the educational program and the administrative, legal, and governance operations of the school relative to compliance with the terms of the Charter School generally.
Programmatic Audit. Contractor agrees that WCI, Inc. or its designated representative shall have the right to review and to copy any of Contractor’s records and supporting documentation pertaining to the performance of tasks that are paid through the Agreement to ensure compliance with the Agreement and with regulations governing the greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting or cap-and- trade programs implemented by WCI, Inc., any Participating Jurisdiction or any funding entity. Contractor agrees to maintain such records for possible audit for a minimum of three (3) years after final payment, unless a longer period of records retention is required by WCI, Inc. Contractor agrees to allow the auditor(s) designated by WCI, Inc., any Participating Jurisdiction or any funding entity, and/or any of their respective duly authorized representatives, access to such records during normal business hours and to allow interviews of any employees who might reasonably have information related to such records. Further, Contractor agrees to include a similar right of WCI, Inc., any Participating Jurisdiction or any funding entity, and/or any of their respective duly authorized representatives, to audit records and interview staff in any subcontract related to the performance of tasks that are paid through the Agreement. Contractor shall include the provisions of this Section 8.B in any subcontract executed in connection with the Agreement.

It shall include a summary of all health and safety issues arising since the last report, and a summary of actions taken or planned to correct deficiencies or improve results in the foregoing. Analysis and comparison of the racial and ethnic makeup of charter pupils as compared to the general population of residents within the territorial boundaries of Ventura County, including actions taken to ensure the Charter School pupil population is reflective of the general population of Ventura County. Analysis of the Charter School’s admissions practices, including data regarding the numbers of students enrolled, dis-enrolled, denied admission and the reasons therefore, the number on waiting lists, and information on any plans for expansion to accommodate more pupils, including those on the waiting lists. Analysis of the effectiveness of the Charter School’s internal and external dispute mechanisms, and data on the number and resolution of disputes and complaints.
