Protection and Safety. 1. The District and the Association agree that schools need to be orderly, peaceful environments where high quality education can take place without the fear of physical and/or verbal violence. 2. In order to meet the goal of having safe schools for employees and students while protecting the integrity of the learning environment, there must be policies and procedures that address the various aspects of school safety. 3. It is not the intent of this policy to discourage individuals or groups from providing teachers with feedback, either positive or negative, regarding parents’ or their children’s concerns about the quality of instruction, classroom atmosphere, discipline, or interpersonal communication, or other relevant issues. 4. The integrity of the instructional process should be paramount in the school system. In order to maintain that integrity, conferences, meetings, discussions of concerns, etc. should be scheduled outside of the scheduled instructional day. Teachers will not be required to meet with parents during instructional time. If parents attempt to address concerns regarding their child with a teacher while class is in session, the teacher will direct the parent to call to set up an appointment or to contact the principal. 5. When concerns are shared in a hostile manner by parents, guardians, or students through the use of abusive language, insults, threats, unwanted conduct, or loud discourse, the teacher is not obliged to continue. 6. Harassment/intimidation exists if an individual or group: i. Directs personal insults (whether transmitted in writing, orally, or by electronic means) that are likely to incite an immediate adverse response from the person(s) being addressed. ii. Threatens the employee with physical harm or actually xxxxx a person. iii. Damages, defaces or destroys private property of any person. iv. Commits an act of harassment or intimidation (as defined by statute). v. Places a person in position of feeling at risk of emotional or psychological harm. Staff members, who believe they have been the subject of harassment and/or intimidation, or who have witnessed harassment and/or intimidation, will report the incident immediately to the principal or designee. The results of any investigation will be reported to the complainant and further action as deemed appropriate will be taken (which may include reporting the incident to law enforcement authorities).

Protection and Safety. 8.1 You are responsible for the safe operation of your Network and your equipment and in your usage of the Service. You shall take all necessary steps to ensure that your use of the Service and your equipment: 8.1.1 does not endanger the safety of any person, including third parties; 8.1.2 does not cause physical or technical harm, interference or cause deterioration in the operation of any part of our Network; and 8.1.3 does not threaten the security and accessibility of our Service. 8.2 You shall fully indemnify us against and hold us harmless from, any and all claims, judgments, fines, and awards against us, and all damages, loss, expenses, liabilities and costs suffered or incurred by us arising from or in connection with any breach or non- performance of any of your obligations under this Clause 8.

If parents attempt to address concerns regarding their child with the mental health employee while the mental health employee is engaged in performing other essential functions, the mental health employee may direct the parent to either set up an appointment or to contact an administrator. e. The integrity of the instructional process and the delivery of related nursing services should be paramount in the school system. Nurses should not be required to meet with parents during clinic hours if that interaction would interfere with the delivery of time sensitive or essential nursing services. If parents attempt to address concerns regarding their child with the nurse while the nurse is engaged in performing other essential functions, the nurse may direct the parent to either set-up an appointment or to contact an administrator. 5. Protection and Safety. The Subcontractor shall (a) take necessary precautions to protect properly the Work of other subcontractors from damage caused by operations under this Subcontract; (b) take reasonable safety precautions with respect to performance of this Subcontract; (c) comply with safety measures initiated by the Contractor and with applicable laws, ordinances, rules, regulations and orders of public authorities for the safety of persons or property in accordance with the requirements of the General Contract; and (d) immediately report to the Contractor any injury to an employee or agent of the Subcontractor which occurs at the site.
Protection and Safety. (a) Prior to the Substantial Completion Date, Contractor shall be responsible for the security, protection and safety of all Persons (including members of the public and the employees, agents, contractors, consultants and representatives of Company, Contractor and its Subcontractors and Vendors, and other contractors and subcontractors) and all public and private property (including structures, sewers and service facilities above and below ground, along, beneath, above, across or near the Job Site) that are at or near the Job Site or that are in any manner affected by the performance of the Work. (c) Contractor shall promptly provide Company with (i) written notification of all Occupational Safety and Health Act recordable events; (ii) written notifications and copies of all citations by Government Authorities concerning accidents or safety violations at the Job Site; (iii) written reports of near misses at the Job Site; and (iv) copies of written accident reports for lost time accidents.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Contractor shall furnish and maintain all necessary safety equipment such as barriers, signs, warning lights and guards as required to provide adequate protection to persons and property. In addition, Contractor shall give reasonable notice to owners of public and private property and utilities when such property is susceptible to injury or damage through the performance of the Work and shall make all necessary arrangement with such owners relative to the removal and replacement of protection of such property or utilities.

The Borrower agrees to secure the lent Objects on generally recognized terms concerning the control and protection during the entire period of their stay within its premises. section 2. The Borrower shall guarantee such protective measures as the presence of the guards, barriers, plinths, showcases, electronic equipment, etc, in order to protect the lent Objects when they are within its premises and in order to make sure that the visitors do not touch the Objects and damage them in any other way. The Borrower has to make sure that the exhibition place complies with the fire protection requirements and that the Museum guards are fully prepared to act in the event of danger. section 3. Smoking and consuming food or drinks within the exhibition grounds is forbidden. section 4. The Lender reserves the right to inspect the lent Objects at any time while they are at the exhibition. The cost of such an inspection shall be paid by the Borrower. section 5. On Lender’s demand the Borrower shall furnish it with a report concerning the furnishing/equipping of the museum /a Facility Report/ before signing the Lending Agreement, in order to enable the Lender the assessment of the environment, security and the potential logistic consequences of lending the Objects to a given place. The cost opf the possible inspection aimed at confirming the actual conditions described in the Facility Report shall be paid by the Borrower.
