Public Outreach and Education. Each Party shall participate in periodic public outreach and educational efforts, designed to encourage and educate the public on responsible trail use and preservation of the open space and vistas made available by FORTAG, as well as respect for the flora and fauna found along FORTAG’s alignment and the greater community.

Public Outreach and Education. The City will conduct comprehensive public outreach and education activities throughout the Agreement Term. The Contractor shall support these efforts by: • Producing and distributing Customer notifications as described in Section 4.6. • Maintaining a Fort Xxxxxxx-specific website page(s) with the same information required for Customer notifications. • Providing Customers with the ability to request service changes online (such as start / stop service, cart size change, Bulky Items collection, report a missed collection, opt out of Yard Trimmings collection etc.). • Providing service tags and utilizing them as described in this Agreement. • Providing the City Representative with information that will impact Customer service at least thirty (30) days before any changes go into effect. o Including changes in accepted Recyclable Materials or Yard Trimmings, equipment, routing, collection schedule etc.
Public Outreach and Education. Franchisee shall provide, without charge or compensation, a public outreach and education program to properly utilize the Franchise Services, enhance program participation and maximize diversion of Recyclables and Organics. Within sixty (60) days of the effective date of this Agreement, the Franchisee shall submit a Public Outreach and Education plan for review and approval of the City Manager. At a minimum, the Public Outreach and Education program will include: information distribution, media relations, video and radio programming, publications, special events, displays and programs, community presentations, school activities, newsletters, billing inserts, and consumer surveys. Outreach materials shall target the generator, including renters, and be distributed directly to the generator (especially if the generator is not the property owner or billing party). The programs and budgets for each Franchise Year shall be submitted to the City Manager for approval prior to implementation of such. Franchisee shall translate educational materials provided by print or electronic media into any non-English language spoken by a substantial number of the public provided Collection service, consistent with requirements set forth in 14 Cal Code Regs. section 18985.1. Franchisee shall also annually provide commercial business and property owners with public education materials. The Franchisee’s public education materials shall include, at a minimum, information about organic waste recovery requirements and proper sorting of discarded materials, and shall reflect content requirements described below. Contractor shall provide the following materials for this purpose: Franchisee’s educational information shall include information on the following, as appropriate:
Public Outreach and Education. A. Mountain Valley shall develop a program for cultural resources public outreach and education for the Project. The Public Outreach and Education Program Plan can disseminate information to the general public through a variety of media, including but not limited to brochures, books, articles, lectures, exhibits, school- based activities, participation in data recovery excavations, videos, and interactive web sites, and other means.
Public Outreach and Education. A. When the archaeological excavations are completed, the NMSHTD will sponsor a day-long archaeological open house for the Hondo Valley Schools in which the local school children will have an opportunity to view the excavated sites along the project corridor along with a display of materials recovered from those sites. The open house will include presentations on the prehistory and history of the Hondo Valley and archaeology in general.

Public Outreach and Education. The BMPs outlined above apply to permitted activities on county, state, and federal lands. However, there are many dispersed activities that occur on lands in conservation areas that are not permitted, including dispersed ATV use, hunting, and hiking. The Weed Management Subcommittee will look for education opportunities at points of impact. If a major ATV use area or dispersed hiking area occurs within conservation areas, the Weed Management Subcommittee will consider public outreach, including educational kiosks, for reducing weed seed transport. The activities associated with this portion of the weed management plan will occur opportunistically as use areas are identified. Any weed outreach and education activities within conservation areas or Xxxxxx’x or White River beardtongue habitat will be reported to the Penstemon Conservation Team as part of the annual reporting process.
