RECOGNITION OF EXCLUSIVE BARGAINING AGENT. (a) The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for the employees in the bargaining unit described in the certification issued by the Labour Relations Board, subject to the exclusions subsequently ordered by the Labour Relations Board or recognized by the parties.
RECOGNITION OF EXCLUSIVE BARGAINING AGENT. (a) The Company recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for the employees in the bargaining unit described in the Certification issued by the Industrial Relations Council of British Columbia, subject to exclusions subsequently ordered by the Labour Relations Board or recognized by the parties. The Employer agrees not to bargain with any other labour organizations for such employees specified in this Agreement during the term of this Agreement.

(b) For the purposes of this Agreement, the terms “employee” or “employees” shall be understood to mean those persons employed by the Employer for whom the Union is the recognized bargaining agent in (a) above.
