Recording of Time. 1. Employees are required to 'sign on' by recording their start time when commencing work and 'sign off' by recording a finish time when ceasing work. 2. Employees are required to record the duration of their lunch break on their timesheet. 3. Employees must register their own time daily. 4. Clause 29, Disciplinary Procedures of this Agreement will be applied to any case of deliberate falsification of flexitime records. 5. Employees attending conferences, seminars, training sessions, for a whole day will be considered as working standard hours for that day. If required hours of course attendance are in excess of a 'normal day' the employee should declare this on training attendance documentation and discuss claim of flextime/leave in lieu at time of attendance being authorised.

Employees must not 'sign on' on their way past the flex sheet if they are in fact not ready to commence work. (2) Employees are required to record the duration of their lunchbreak if it is less than standard one hour. (3) Employees must register their own time daily. Recording of Time. An overtime (OT) accrual bank will be maintained to keep track of an individual’s eligibility and amount of overtime. Whenever a person is contacted to work overtime and either accepts or accepts then rejects the overtime, the appropriate amount of hours will be added to the bargaining unit member’s overtime (OT) accrual bank. The bargaining unit member’s position on the overtime call list will be based on the hours in the overtime (OT) accrual bank. A person already working one segment of shift on overtime shall not be charged for declining a second segment of overtime on the same shift. If however, the person is not contacted before the needed position was filled, then his/her overtime (OT) accrual bank, would not be charged the time. Division Chiefs will be responsible for entering all overtime into the overtime (OT) accrual banks of those individuals assigned to their division or working in their division on a temporary basis. All personnel assigned to days will be eligible for overtime provided they meet the standards set by administration.
Recording of Time. In order to be responsive to report requests from higher headquarters on EEO and/or Diversity activities, the Employer utilizes a task number. It is vital that daily employee time sheets reflect time spent on such activities as EEO/Diversity Committee meetings, discussions, report preparation and review, reading of EEO or diversity material, etc. Time sheets should reflect the task number in effect for the current fiscal year. This number can be obtained from the Employer’s Financial Management Branch, if not known.
Recording of Time. The Employer shall make suitable provisions for recording the hours worked by each employee covered by this Agreement. Employees will be responsible for the recording of time on their own timecards and will be paid in accordance with the time recorded on such timecards. Employees failing to follow the proper procedure regarding timecards will be subject to discipline in accordance with this Agreement. When an employee fails to record time on his or her time card or when the time clock records an error on the time card, the employee shall report such failure or error to the Store Manager or his designate who shall insert the proper time in ink on the time card and initial it and the employee shall also initial said card. Timecards may be replaced by electronic recording devices. It is intended that there shall be no "free" or "time-off-the-clock" work practices under this Agreement. Any employee found by the Employer or by the Union to be engaging in such unauthorized practice shall be subject to discipline which may include termination.
