Rest Periods and Lunch. 1. Employees who are scheduled to work at least three and one-half hours per day shall be granted a fifteen-minute paid rest period. Employees who are scheduled to work beyond six hours per day shall be granted an additional, separate paid rest period. The rest period shall be scheduled whenever possible, near the middle of a shift. The Board may vary the scheduling of such rest period(s) when, in its opinion, the demands of work require such variance. The length of the break shall be prorated for employees who are scheduled to work more than eight hours per day.

Rest Periods and Lunch. Section 50.1. There shall be two (2) fifteen (15) minute rest periods on each shift each work day. This time represents actual time away from the employee's duties. These rest periods will be scheduled during the middle two (2) hours of each half shift to the extent practicable, but they may not be scheduled immediately before or after the meal period or at the start or the end of a shift. Employees leaving the workplace or job site during a rest period must return and be ready to work within the fifteen (15) minutes allotted.

  • Meal Periods and Rest Periods (a) Regular hours of work shall include, as scheduled by the Employer, two (2) rest periods of fifteen (15) minutes during each shift of seven and three- quarter (7 3/4) hours and exclude an unpaid meal period of not less than thirty (30) minutes.

  • Rest Periods Employees working a full shift will receive one rest period of fifteen (15) minutes in each half of the shift. Employees working less than a full shift, but a minimum of four (4) hours will receive one fifteen (15) minute rest period.

  • Rest Period An employee who works overtime shall have at least a ten hour rest period between the end of ordinary hours on any one day and start of ordinary hours on the next day. If on the instructions of the employer, the employee resumes or continues work without having had 10 consecutive hours off duty, the employee shall be paid double time until he or she is released from duty for ten hour rest period. The employee shall then be entitled to be absent without loss of pay for ordinary working hours occurring during the ten hour rest period. In the case of shift workers, eight hours shall be substituted for ten hours when overtime is worked:

  • Interest Periods In connection with each LIBOR Rate Loan, the Borrower, by giving notice at the times described in Section 3.1(a), shall elect an interest period (each, an "Interest Period") to be applicable to such Loan, which Interest Period shall be a period of one (1), two (2), three (3) or six (6) months with respect to each LIBOR Rate Loan; provided that:

  • Paid Rest Periods All Employees shall be given a paid rest period of fifteen (15) minutes in the first and second half of their daily shift in an area made available by the Employer. If mutually agreed to between the parties, the two (2) rest periods shall be combined.

  • Rest Period After Overtime (a) When overtime work is necessary, it will, wherever reasonably practicable, be so arranged that employees have at least 10 consecutive hours off duty between the work of successive days or shifts, including overtime.
