Right to Conduct Association Business. Duly authorized representatives of the Association and the Association’s respective affiliates shall be permitted to transact official Association business at a bargaining unit member’s request on school property, provided that the building principal is notified. This procedure shall not interfere with the normal classroom teaching except in the case of an emergency.

Right to Conduct Association Business. Upon notification to the member’s supervisor, Association representatives (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Building/Classification Representative or designee) may conduct Association business with other members at the employee’s job site for reasonable periods of time (e.g., representing a member in disciplinary setting) and at reasonable frequencies, so long as it does not interfere with school operations or any member’s job duties. Association leave will not be used for this purpose. Members may not leave their job site to conduct Association business outside of negotiations or approved leave. The Superintendent shall be provided with a current list of building representatives on or before October 1.
