Rostering of OSA positions. District Rostering At the discretion of the relevant Assistant Commissioner, OSA positions may be rostered within and/or across Districts (District Rostering) to maximise resource deployment and flexibility provided that: where practicable, employees rostered to work at a location (other than their appointed division) within and/or across Districts should be notified of the change to the work location 7 days prior to the commencement of the roster period. This change of roster location should be for no longer than 2 consecutive roster periods unless otherwise mutually agreed. an employee; rostered to work in a location (other than their appointed division) that requires travel in excess of 40 kilometres from their current residence; or the total travelling time each way is more than 30 minutes in addition to the time (excluding exceptional and unexpected delays) the employee would normally travel to and from the employee's residence and usual station; will be entitled to travel time in accordance with clause 65 of this Agreement and cost of conveyance prescribed at clause 25 of this Agreement and clause 5.2.3 of the Police Service Award – State 2012. an employee referred to in subclause (7)(a)(ii) above will not be required to work at a location that requires travel in excess of 40 kilometres from their current residence for more than one roster period every 6 months unless mutually agreed between the employee and the District Officer. the parties agree that the rostering of individual employees to a location other than their appointed division will not occur or be used as a disciplinary sanction. However the service may roster an employee to a location other than their appointed division as a risk mitigation strategy with regard to the Commissioners responsibilities pursuant to section 4.8 of the Police Service Administration Act 1990. The parties acknowledge that District rostering may not be suitable in Districts that cover larger geographical areas. General Provisions Rostering of OSA positions must comply with the following: The rostering arrangements of employees are in accordance with the criteria for payment of the OSA as prescribed in Clause 36 of this Agreement; Each employee is to be rostered off at least one full weekend in each 28 day roster: one full weekend will mean a Saturday and a Sunday together; Each employee will not be rostered to work more than 56 weekend days, accounted as 448 weekend hours, in an equity year; Each employee must be ...

  • Filling of Positions All eligible employees under Section 3 who have made a timely interest bid, and meet the minimum qualifications, shall be given consideration and may be appointed to the opening prior to the consideration of other non-interest bidding applicants and prior to filling the vacancy through other means. The Appointing Authority shall not be arbitrary, capricious, or discriminatory and must have a legitimate business reason to reject all of the interest bidders. Seniority of the interest bidders shall not be a factor in appointing employees from among the interest bidders. All interest bidders shall be notified orally or in writing, which may include electronic mailing, as to the status (either under consideration, acceptance, or rejection) of their interest bid in a timely manner. If the vacancy is not filled by an employee under this Section, then it shall be filled in the following order:

  • Ordering of Other UNE Services 2.9.4.1 All LSRs issued for reserved facilities shall reference the facility reservation number as provided by BellSouth. Choice Telephone Company will not be billed any additional LMU charges for the loop ordered on such LSR. If, however, Choice Telephone Company does not reserve facilities upon an initial LMUSI, Choice Telephone Company’s placement of an order for an advanced data service type facility will incur the appropriate billing charges to include service inquiry and reservation per Exhibit B of this Attachment.

  • Reporting of Sales to TIPS by Vendor The Participation Fee that was published as part of the Solicitation and the fee published is the legally effective fee, along with any fee conditions stated in the Solicitation. Collection of the fees by TIPS is required under Texas Government Code §791.011 Et seq. Fees are due on all TIPS purchases reported by either Vendor or Member. Fees are due to TIPS upon payment by the Member to the Vendor, Reseller or Vendor Assigned Dealer. Vendor, Reseller or Vendor Assigned Dealer agrees that the participation fee is due to TIPS for all Agreement sales immediately upon receipt of payment including partial payment, from the Member Entity and must be paid to TIPS at least on a monthly basis, specifically within 31 calendar days of receipt of payment, if not more frequently, or as otherwise agreed by TIPS in writing and signed by an authorized signatory of TIPS. Thus, when an awarded Vendor, Reseller or Vendor Assigned Dealer receives any amount of payment, even partial payment, for a TIPS sale, the legally effective fee for that amount is immediately due to TIPS from the Vendor and fees due to TIPS should be paid at least on a monthly basis, specifically within 31 calendar days of receipt of payment, if not more frequently. Reporting of Sales to TIPS by Vendor Vendor is required to report all sales under the TIPS contract to TIPS. When a public entity initiates a purchase with a TIPS Awarded Vendor, if the Member inquires verbally or in writing whether the Vendor holds a TIPS Contract, it is the duty of the Vendor to verify whether or not the Member is seeking a TIPS purchase. Once verified, the Vendor must include the TIPS Contract number on any communications and related sales documents exchanged with the TIPS Member entity. To report sales, the Vendor must login to the TIPS Vendor Portal online at xxxxx://xxx.xxxx-xxx.xxx/vendors_form.cfm and click on the PO’s and Payments tab. Pages 3-7 of the Vendor Portal User Guide will walk you through the process of reporting sales to TIPS. Please refer to the TIPS Accounting FAQ’s for more information about reporting sales and if you have further questions, contact the Accounting Team at xxxxxxxxxx@xxxx-xxx.xxx. The Vendor or vendor assigned dealers are responsible for keeping record of all sales that go through the TIPS Agreement and submitting same to TIPS. Failure to render the participation fee to TIPS shall constitute a breach of this agreement with our parent governmental entity, Texas Education Service Center Region 8, as established by the Texas legislature and shall be grounds for termination of this agreement and any other agreement held with TIPS and possible legal action. Any overpayment of participation fees to TIPS by a Vendor will be refunded to the Vendor within ninety (90) days of receipt of notification if TIPS receives written notification of the overpayment not later than the expiration of six (6) months from the date of overpayment and TIPS determines that the amount was not legally due to TIPS pursuant to this agreement and applicable law. It is the Vendor’s responsibility to identify which sales are TIPS Agreement sales and pay the correct participation fee due for TIPS Agreement sales. Any notification of overpayment received by TIPS after the expiration of six (6) months from the date of overpayment will be non-refundable. Region 8 ESC and TIPS reserve the right to extend the six (6) month deadline to notify if approved by the Region 8 ESC Board of Directors.   • Public Posting of Approved Users’ Research Use Statement The PI agrees that information about themselves and the approved research use will be posted publicly on the dbGaP website. The information includes the PI’s name and Requester, project name, Research Use Statement, and a Non-Technical Summary of the Research Use Statement. In addition, and if applicable, this information may include the Cloud Computing Use Statement and name of the CSP or PCS. Citations of publications resulting from the use of controlled-access datasets obtained through this DAR may also be posted on the dbGaP website.

  • Filling Positions ‌ The Employer will determine when a position will be filled, the type of appointment to be used when filling the position, and the skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the specific position within a job classification. Only those candidates who have the position-specific skills and abilities required to perform the duties of the vacant position will be referred for further consideration by the employing agency.

  • Scheduling of Overtime In any case where no employee is available to work a shift or the extension of a shift at straight time, and the Employer thereupon determines that it is necessary to assign the work on an overtime basis, the following provisions will govern the assignment of the overtime.

  • Preparatory Contract Negotiations Meetings Where operational requirements permit, the Employer will grant leave without pay to an employee to attend preparatory contract negotiations meetings.

  • VACANCIES AND PROMOTIONS Section 1. The following procedures will be followed in the posting and filling of vacant or newly created permanent positions. The purpose of this system is to inform employees of vacancies and newly created positions and to afford employees, who are interested and who feel they qualify, an equal opportunity to apply for the vacant or newly created position. It is understood that newly hired employees and employees on a leave of absence for any reason may not have the same period of notice as other employees concerning position vacancies.

  • Felling of trees The Authority shall assist the Concessionaire in obtaining the Applicable Permits for felling of trees to be identified by the Authority for this purpose if and only if such trees cause a material adverse effect on the construction, operation or maintenance of the Bus Terminal. The cost of such felling shall be borne by the Authority, and in the event of any delay in felling thereof for reasons beyond the control of the Concessionaire, it shall be excused for failure to perform any of its obligations hereunder if such failure is a direct consequence of delay in the felling of trees. For the avoidance of doubt, the Parties hereto agree that the felled trees shall be deemed to be owned by the Authority and shall be disposed in such manner and subject to such conditions as the Authority may in its sole discretion deem appropriate.
