Change of roster. (a) Where the Employer requires an Employee, without seven (7) days’ notice and outside the expected circumstances in subclause 63.2 above, to perform ordinary duty at other times than those previously rostered, the Employee will be paid in accordance with the hours worked plus a daily change of roster allowance pursuant to Part 1 of Schedule 2C. (b) Provided that a part-time Employee who agrees to work shift(s) in addition to those already rostered will not be entitled to the Change of Roster allowance for the additional shift(s) worked.

Change of roster. (a) To promote forward rostering, to encourage part-time Employees to perform extra shifts and to clarify the circumstances around Employees working additional shifts on a voluntary basis, each Employer shall, in addition to the normal nursing roster(s), develop and maintain a supplementary roster specifically to record all Employees willing to work additional/changed shifts. (b) The supplementary roster is to display vacant shifts and Employees can nominate to work those shifts. The supplementary roster would also provide a stand-by facility, where Employees wishing to work extra shifts can nominate the days/shifts that they wish to work, should such vacancies in the normal roster occur. (c) All vacancies that arise in the normal nursing roster shall as far as possible be filled by Employees who have voluntarily self-nominated to work additional shifts as per the supplementary roster. (d) Where vacancies in the normal nursing roster cannot be filled from the supplementary roster, Employees may be requested to work additional shift(s) (subject to the provisions of this Agreement) and will automatically receive the "change of roster allowance" in Schedule B in addition to any other entitlement. (e) For the purposes of this clause, it is agreed that Employers will not seek to override the arrangements herein, by attempting to include in an Employee's contract of employment a requirement that an Employee be available for extra shifts, other than as provided for in this Agreement. (f) Overtime payments are not affected by these changes. Overtime remains payable where it would otherwise apply, for example, double shifts. (g) Nothing in the above is intended to inhibit nurses swapping shifts amongst themselves, in which case no change of roster allowance is payable.
Change of roster. If the Company intends to change the roster, a minimum of 30 days’ notice will be given.
Change of roster. Rosters may be changed either before or during a roster cycle on giving you at least three (3) days notice or such lesser period as mutually agreed between the Employee and the Employer. Provided that in the case of emergency, unforeseen operational contingency, absenteeism, or sickness the Employer is required to give the Employee no notice provided they take into account the Employee’s individual needs and circumstances.

Where this is not possible the employee will be paid double time for the first shift after the change. 16.4.2 Where an employee is given less than five (5) days’ notice of a change of shift or roster and the change results in the employee working additional shifts, then the employee shall be allowed an equal amount of time off at a mutually agreed time. If it is not practical for the employee to be allowed time off within four (4) weeks, the employee shall be paid for the extra shifts at double time. 16.4.3 The provisions in 16.4.1 and 16.4.2 above do not apply to employees who are classified as relief shift workers.

Change of roster a) Employees engaged prior to 1 November 1993 shall not be required to work ordinary hours on a Saturday unless by mutual agreement. b) Employees requested to work on a new roster shall be guaranteed a minimum of seven roster cycles (28 weeks) employment on the new roster. After completion of this minimum period of operation either party will be permitted to suggest alterations/alternatives if required. The decision of the local Distribution Manager will prevail as to the roster's continuance or otherwise. c) In the instance of a need to vary work rosters the Company shall seek volunteers first. If there are not enough volunteers, the Company will provide fourteen (14) days prior notice in writing (or less if mutually agreed) to the affected employees of the required change. When proposing a roster change for employees, the Company will take into consideration and have respect for the individual’s personal circumstances. If the employee is unable to work the new ordinary hours the matter will be resolved via the Dispute Resolution Procedure. d) By mutual agreement between the appropriate Manager and employee(s) a mid roster review period of 12 weeks (3 roster cycles) may be adopted. At this mid-roster review either party may suggest alterations/alternatives if required. e) A weekly employees ordinary hours roster can only be altered a maximum of four times during the life of this Agreement, unless by mutual agreement.
Change of roster. (a) Except in emergency situations seven (7) days’ notice shall be given of a change of roster. (b) Part time Employees who elect to work extra shifts on a voluntary basis will be able to register their interest in working uncovered rostered shifts (c) Employees to indicate to their nominated Manager their additional shift preferences. Nothing in the above is intended to inhibit Employees swapping shifts amongst themselves or volunteering to work additional shifts subject to line manager approval., in which case no change of roster allowance is payable.
Change of roster. (a) Fourteen (14) days’ notice will be given of a change in a roster. (b) However, a roster may be altered at any time to enable the service of the organisation to be carried on where another employee is absent from duty on account of illness, or in an emergency. (c) This clause will not apply where the only change to the roster of a part time employee is the mutually agreed addition of extra hours to be worked such that the part-time employee works not more than fulltime hours as per clause 21.1.
