Salary of Teachers. Where the parties are in agreement as to a Teacher's qualifications, experience, and responsibility, no Teacher shall be employed at a salary higher than that being paid to any other member of the incumbent staff, having the same or equal qualifications, experience, and responsibility.

Salary of Teachers. 3.01 The salary of all full-time teachers shall be determined by the application of the following schedules according to the provisions of Article 4 hereof. 3.02 The salary of a part-time teacher shall be calculated by determining the salary to which he/she would be entitled if he/she were teaching on a full-time basis, and applying to this amount the percentage that is equivalent to the time assigned him/her by the Board.

Salary of Teachers. 1. Current teachers' salary schedule is attached. Current additive schedule is attached. No other compensation shall be paid to any teacher other than as indicated on the attached salary schedule as compensation for classroom teaching. The Board may, from time to time, establish additional special assignment positions to be added to the additive schedule. The pay for such positions shall be established by the Board on the basis of comparable positions as set forth on the additive schedule. The School District shall promptly notify the Association of the establishment of such positions and the pay therefore. The additive schedule may be the subject of negotiations, provided however, that the enumeration of special assignment positions shall not be construed as limiting or restricting the Board's discretion at any time to establish, to dis- establish, to fill or not to fill any such positions. 2. Salaries and wages of employees shall be determined by the Board in conformity with the salary and wage schedule now in force. Salaries of regular employees shall be paid in twelve (12) monthly installments. Installments shall correspond to the calendar month of the contract year, except that new employees shall not receive payment until the close of the first pay period after work begins. 3. Effective July 1, 1998, teachers pay dates will be on the first business day of the month. 4. The School District will grant credit on the teacher salary schedule for previous teaching experience outside the School District in an approved public, private, or parochial school system or, with consultation with the association president, for business experience that enhances teaching ability and is directly related to the teaching assignment. The School District will grant credit on the teacher salary schedule for such experience at one step for each year of experience up to nine steps. This change in the granting of credit for previous teaching experience shall become effective for new employees only with the first pay period of the 2001- 2002-contract year. 5. Maximum Salary Enhancement Professional Grown Plan A new salary maximum of an additional 4% shall be available for those teachers frozen on the MA, MA+30, MA+45, MA+60, and MA+75/2MA, PH.D. column providing the teacher satisfactorily completes an approved Professional Growth Plan.   • Salary No salary will be paid to a Member for the performance of his or her duties under this Agreement unless the salary has been approved in writing by a Majority of the Members.

  • Salary Compensation As salary compensation for Employee's services hereunder and all the rights granted hereunder by Employee to the Company, the Company shall pay Employee a gross salary of not less than $175,000 during the term of this Agreement. Employee's salary shall be payable in bi-weekly increments in accordance with the Company's payroll practices for salaried employees, upon the condition that Employee fully and faithfully performs Employee's services hereunder in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The Company shall deduct and withhold from the compensation payable to Employee hereunder any and all amounts required to be deducted or withheld by the Company under the provisions of any statute, regulation, ordinance, or order and any and all amendments hereinafter enacted requiring the withholding or deducting from compensation payable to employees.

(b) In addition to the employment of employees set forth on Schedule 3, Manager may, in its discretion, from time to time employ personnel of its general operations to perform direct special services for the benefit of the Project; provided, however, that Manager shall obtain the prior approval of Owner for the employment of such special personnel, except in emergency situations or when timing requirements do not allow for such prior approval. Owner shall reimburse Manager for such direct services rendered by special personnel in an amount commensurate with normal and customary charges for such services by similarly qualified persons. Persons whose compensation may not be charged to Owner for services rendered to the Project includes the general asset management personnel of Manager who are not on-site of the Project.

  • Salary Administration Section 1. Salary eligibility date is defined as the date an employee is eligible for an annual performance pay increase. The salary eligibility date is computed from the date of hire. Employees shall be eligible for annual performance pay increases on the employees' salary eligibility date provided the employee is not at the top step of the salary range of the employees' classification. The employee may be denied the annual performance pay increase if there has been a serious performance or attendance problem. Denials are subject to review within six (6) months. Denials may be grieved under the provisions of Article 51. Section 2. Any employee requiring an emergency draw shall be authorized once during the term of this Agreement to make such a draw without explanation. Additional draws may be requested in accord with existing policy and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • Salary Protection A regular employee who fills a regular vacancy or displaces a regular employee at a lower classification shall receive salary protection in accordance with Article 27.7.

  • SUB-ADVISER'S COMPENSATION The Fund shall pay to the Sub-Adviser, as compensation for the Sub-Adviser's services hereunder, a fee, determined as described in Schedule A that is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Such fee shall be computed daily and paid not less than monthly in arrears by the Fund. The Sub-Adviser will be compensated based on the portion of Fund assets allocated to the Sub-Adviser by the Adviser. The method for determining net assets of the Fund for purposes hereof shall be the same as the method for determining net assets for purposes of establishing the offering and redemption prices of Fund shares as described in the Fund's prospectus. In the event of termination of this Agreement, the fee provided in this Section shall be computed on the basis of the period ending on the last business day on which this Agreement is in effect subject to a pro rata adjustment based on the number of days elapsed in the current month as a percentage of the total number of days in such month.
