Salary and Wage Schedule. 0501 The salaries and wages are set forth in the attached schedule. During the life of this Agreement, the following wage increases shall be implemented:

Salary and Wage Schedule. Section 1 Salary ranges for each job title or classification are set forth on Schedules for each of the five years of this Agreement annexed hereto and made a part hereof as Appendix B. Upon reaching the maximum wage rate for a given classification, additional increases may, in the sole and nongrievable discretion of the Authority, be allowed in accordance with an annual review of wages conducted by the Authority. When an employee is promoted to a job title which has a higher pay grade than he/she formerly held, he/she shall immediately be placed in a step within the higher pay grade which will guarantee him/her a higher regular hourly rate of pay than he/she was previously receiving. Step increases will thereafter be based upon the promotion date and not date of original hire.
Section 2 Wages retroactive to July 1, 2009 will be paid to all employees currently employed by the Authority.

1. All of the Korn Ferry Market Analysis recommended position grade changes shall be accepted and implemented, with the following stipulations:
a. No employee shall see a reduction in salary or wage.
b. Any employee whose grade increases shall receive the greater of the following two options: the minimum salary/rate of pay for the classification level to which the position has been assigned, OR up to a ten (10) percent increase in his or her current salary/rate of pay, not to exceed the maximum of their new grade.
2. Any employee who is below the minimum for their pay grade shall be moved to the minimum for that pay grade.
3. Above the maximum refers to employees whose pay rate exceeds the maximum salary set for that grade level. Once such employees are identified, ECC will freeze their salary at the employees’ current salary level.
4. Raises shall be applied using the language in the following paragraphs, below. Employees, who were employed as of July 1, 2021, shall receive the following based on the employee’s current wage and salary in their grade (see Appendix F):
Salary and Wage Schedule. 26.01 Attached hereto and forming part of this Agreement are the following schedules:
Salary and Wage Schedule. Each employee shall be on one of the steps in the salary range prescribed for their classification; this step position on the salary range will be each employee’s base wage. An employee’s regular rate of pay will be the base wage plus all additional wages the employee makes including incentives, premium pay, etc. Except for Lateral Deputies, new employees will start at Step 1 on the salary range. Lateral Deputy Definition. A Lateral Deputy is a newly hired employee who is already certified as a police officer by the State of Oregon or who has the Basic Police Course or Basic Corrections Officer Course waived by the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST). Lateral Deputy Hiring. The Sheriff may, at their discretion, start Lateral Deputies up to the top step of the salary range and be prescribed all incentives and benefits consistent with the Lateral Deputy’s years of sworn law enforcement experience.

Employees shall be compensated in accordance with the salary and wage schedule established in this Agreement as agreed upon in collective bargaining negotiations effective June 1, 2005 , June 1, 2006, June 1, 2007, and June 1, 2008 which is attached to this Agreement and marked Appendix "A". New full time employees hired after June 1, 2005, will be paid the starting rate of pay for the job classification to which they were hired, and automatically proceed to the next step of the salary and wage schedule on each anniversary date of his/her employment. All other employees will automatically move to the next step of the salary schedule on June Ist of each contract year.
Salary and Wage Schedule. Section 15.1.1: Effective January 1, 2006 the salary schedule for all grades and steps will be increased by three percent (3%) and eligible employees will receive an increment.
