Salary Schedule Placement and Movement. 1. Teachers employed new to the District will be placed upon the appropriate step and lane as per the adopted salary index (Appendix A-1). A maximum of seven (7) years previous teaching experience as a certified teacher (Grades Pre-K-12) shall be allowed for determining initial placement on the salary schedule. In order to progress horizontally on the salary schedule, a teacher shall submit a certified transcript, grade card, or evidence of successful coursework completion together with a copy of the request for an official transcript to the Superintendent, or designee. The Board may, without further action, be permitted to recoup all salary schedule movement if a teacher fails to ensure that the Superintendent, or designee has received the required official transcript. ii. Teachers enrolled in a Master’s Degree program will be placed on the BA+12 and BA+24 lanes as the appropriate number of hours have been completed and certified. iii. In order for additional graduate coursework credit to be applicable to horizontal movement on the salary schedule beyond the MA salary lane, such approved coursework must be completed subsequent to obtaining the Master’s Degree. Except for any teacher in the MA+12 and MA+24 lanes at the start of the 2018-2019 school year, teachers shall have no access to the MA+12 and MA+24 lanes. iv. When all the requirements for horizontal advancement have been completed by September 5, the change in lane and the accompanying change in salary shall be effective with the beginning of the school term. Salary Schedule Placement and Movement. A. For salary schedule placement and movement, the highest degree held and additional hours beyond the degree will be credited provided: 1. Hours taken that apply to another postgraduate degree. 2. Hours taken are in the certification area of the teacher. 3. Other coursework shall be approved in advance by the Superintendent, with a description of the proposed course and its educational benefit to the district. 4. No undergraduate hours may be used without the advance approval of the Superintendent. B. Newly hired teachers may receive up to full experience credit for teaching experience in an accredited school, at the discretion of the Board. Half-time or greater experience shall count as a full year. No teacher may be placed in a greater experience step or educational column than earned through accredited experience and/or advanced training. C. The Board may offer, at its discretion, a signing bonus at the time of employment not to exceed $4,000. D. The column heading BS refers to a Bachelor of Science, a Bachelor of Arts, or its equivalent. The column heading MS refers to a Masters of Science, a Masters of Arts, or its equivalent. E. Teachers qualifying for the next higher column shall move to that column, provided an official transcript is received by the Superintendent by September 1st. The Superintendent may waive that deadline for good cause.

Where a qualified teacher has previous teaching experience as a certified teacher, (Grades K-12), one (1) year credit for each one (1) year of actual teaching experience up to a maximum of twenty (20) years previous teaching experience shall be allowed for determining initial placement on the salary schedule. If a teacher does not deposit an official transcript, the Board shall, without further action, be permitted to recoup all salary schedule movement. 3. It is understood that horizontal movement on the salary schedule requires graduate level coursework. In order to move horizontally to the MS + 36 column, a teacher needs to earn 36 hours after the date the Master’s degree was conferred. This will also apply to the MS + 12, and MS + 24 columns. If someone is currently at MS or MS + 12, he/she must actually have earned a total of 12 or 24 hours after the date of the Master’s degree in order to move to the appropriate column.

  • Salary Schedule Placement College Training A. Unit members qualifying for the “Entry Level Salary” shall remain at this level until they met the minimum requirements for placement on any other salary column (1-4). Upon verification of documentation qualifying unit members for placement upon any other salary column (1-4), the unit member shall then be placed upon the appropriate step on that salary column in accordance with his/her length of service. B. School Nurses who have a Bachelor’s degree, qualify for crediting of previous experience, but have not completed 30 semester units after the Bachelor’s degree or the appropriate clear credential, shall be exempt from placement at “Entry Level Salary”; shall instead, be placed on Column 1; and shall advance on the salary schedule in accordance with the Agreement for unit members. C. Unit members placed on “COLUMN 1” of the Salary Schedules by the agreement (Appendix C1) between the Association and the District shall advance on the schedule in accordance with that agreement (Appendix C1). D. All college or university credits which will qualify a unit member for a new salary placement must be verified by official college or university transcripts in order to justify a contract revision. Such college or university credits must be obtained from an institution of higher learning which is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges or other recognized accreditation organization. Salary revision shall be effective following District approval (as stipulated by this Article) of the necessary credits for column advancement. E. The unit requirement for each salary column is stated in semester hours of credit; quarter hour credits can be converted into semester hours by multiplying 2/3. F. For salary schedule purposes, only semester units earned after the completion of the Bachelor’s Degree shall be considered. G. Credit will not be granted for any course for which less than a "C" grade is earned. H. Unit members shall not enroll in courses which conflict with the work day. I. A major teaching field is considered to be 36 semester hours (12 of which must be upper division or graduate), a minor teaching field is considered to be 20 semester hours (8 of which must be upper division or graduate). J. Repeat credit may be granted for a course taken at an accredited institution in which the content field has recently undergone substantial change or, in the case of a course originally taken many years ago, an updating of study is desirable. K. Course work, for salary credit must be upper division, graduate level, or transferable* lower division courses, taken at an accredited college or university, and must conform to one or more of the following guidelines: 1. Units may be taken in a subject directly related to the teaching/work assignment. 2. Units may be taken in a subject directly related to a person’s major or minor. For unit members in a self-contained classroom program; a subject commonly taught in the elementary school. For unit members in a departmentalized classroom program; courses in an additional major or minor. 3. Units may be taken in a subject directly related to an advanced degree in professional education or in a subject related to the teaching/work assignment. 4. Units may be taken in a subject directly related to a credential or certificate authorized by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. 5. Units may be taken in a Board authorized, District sponsored, professional activity. Credit equivalent will be adopted at the time of such Board action. *A transferable lower division course is a lower division course taken at an accredited college or university that is acceptable for baccalaureate graduation credit at another accredited college or university. L. The submission of transcripts for columnar advancement of the salary schedule is limited to two (2) submission dates per school year. Additional units may be banked for future salary schedule advancement. M. Transcripts for completed units must be submitted to the Human Resources Division no later than the first of September or February for salary adjustment. Adjustment for qualifying units submitted no later than the first of September will be retroactively made effective on the first work day of the school year. Adjustment for qualifying units submitted no later than the first of February will be retroactively made effective on the first work day of the calendar year.

  • Salary Schedule The salaries of employees covered by this agreement are set forth in the salary schedule in Appendix A which is attached to and incorporated into this agreement.

  • Salary Schedules (a) The salary schedules shall be incorporated into this Agreement as Appendix V. (b) Salary schedules will contain Career Enhancement/Growth steps as described in Section 45.6.

  • Change Orders and Contract Amendments 33.1 The Procuring Entity may at any time order the Supplier through notice in accordance GCC Clause 8, to make changes within the general scope of the Contract in any one or more of the following: a) drawings, designs, or specifications, where Goods to be furnished under the Contract are to be specifically manufactured for the Procuring Entity; b) the method of shipment or packing; c) the place of delivery; and d) the Related Services to be provided by the Supplier. 33.2 If any such change causes an increase or decrease in the cost of, or the time required for, the Supplier's performance of any provisions under the Contract, an equitable adjustment shall be made in the Contract Price or in the Delivery/Completion Schedule, or both, and the Contract shall accordingly be amended. Any claims by the Supplier for adjustment under this Clause must be asserted within twenty-eight (28) days from the date of the Supplier's receipt of the Procuring Entity's change order. 33.3 Prices to be charged by the Supplier for any Related Services that might be needed but which were not included in the Contract shall be agreed upon in advance by the parties and shall not exceed the prevailing rates charged to other parties by the Supplier for similar services.

  • DISTRIBUTION OF CONTRACTOR PRICE LIST AND CONTRACT APPENDICES Contractor shall provide Authorized Users with electronic copies of the Contract, including price lists and Appendices, upon request. Contract Updates will be handled as provided in Appendix C – Contract Modification Procedures.

  • Flexible Work Schedule A flexible work schedule is any schedule that is not a regular, alternate, 9/80, or 4/10 work schedule and where the employee is not scheduled to work more than 40 hours in the "workweek" as defined in Subsections F. and H., below.

  • Schedule of Specific Commitments 1. Each Party shall set out in a schedule the specific commitments it undertakes under Article 106 (National Treatment), Article 000 (Xxxxxx Xxxxxx) and Article 108 (Additional Commitments). With respect to sectors where such commitments are undertaken, each Schedule shall specify: (a) terms, limitations and conditions on market access; (b) conditions and qualifications on national treatment; (c) undertakings relating to additional commitments referred to in Article 108 (Additional Commitments); and (d) where appropriate, the time-frame for implementation of such commitments and the date of entry into force of such commitments. 2. Measures inconsistent with both Articles 106 (National Treatment) and 000 (Xxxxxx Xxxxxx) are inscribed in the column relating to Article 107 (Market Access). In this case, the inscription is considered to provide a condition or qualification to Article 106 (National Treatment) as well. 3. The Parties' Schedules of Specific Commitments are set out in Annex 6 (Schedules of Specific Commitments).

  • Recovery Schedule If the initial schedule or any current updates fail to reflect the Work’s actual plan or method of operation, or a contractual milestone date is more than fifteen (15) days behind, Owner may require that a recovery schedule for completion of the remaining Work be submitted. The Recovery Schedule must be submitted within seven (7) calendar days of Owner’s request. The Recovery Schedule shall describe in detail Construction Contractor’s plan to complete the remaining Work by the required Contract milestone date. The Recovery Schedule submitted shall meet the same requirements as the original Construction Schedule. The narrative submitted with the Recovery Schedule should describe in detail all changes that have been made to meet the Contract milestone dates.
