Return from Sabbatical Leave. Upon completion of a Sabbatical Leave, the recipient must return to the Coventry School District for twice the duration of the Sabbatical Leave. Failure to return for reasons within the control of the recipient shall result in repayment of all sums paid or expended on recipient’s behalf, including the cost of fringe benefits during the time of Sabbatical Leave.
Return from Sabbatical Leave. Within thirty (30) days from the start of the academic term after returning from sabbatical leave, the tenured bargaining unit member must submit a written report of the accomplishments and benefits resulting from the leave aligned to their intended sabbatical goals and objectives. This report is needed both for the record and as a justification of the value of the sabbatical leave program. The report is to be filed with the Xxxxxxx, with a copy to the Department Chair and the College Xxxx, within the timeline specified in the application. Return from Sabbatical Leave. Employees on sabbatical leave shall be considered to be in regular full time attendance in the position held at the beginning of each such leave for the purpose of determining length of service. Employees absent because of an authorized sabbatical leave shall receive such salary increments as are granted during that period. Employees shall agree in writing to return to his/her employment for a period of not less than two years following the expiration of such leave.

This amount is due and payable within three (3) months following the date 792 designated in the sabbatical agreement for the tenured bargaining unit member to return to Oregon 793 Tech or the date of separation, whichever is earlier, unless another time is mutually agreed to in 794 writing between the University and tenured bargaining unit member. Under extraordinary 795 circumstances, a tenured bargaining unit member may submit to the Xxxxxxx in writing a request for 796 an exception to the terms outlined in this Section. 797
Return from Sabbatical Leave. Upon return from a sabbatical leave, the employee must continue employment with the district for three years. If the employee does not stay for three years, that employee must reimburse the district the salary paid him/her during the leave of absence, reimburse the district the cost of heath/medical insurance coverage provided during the leave, and will forfeit his/her accrued sick leave. Full reimbursement must be made at or prior to the employee’s departure from the district.

Return from Sabbatical Leave. Upon completion of a sabbatical leave, the PLSPA member shall be assigned to the position occupied prior to the leave or a mutually agreed upon commensurate position, shall remain in the district's service for at least two (2) years and shall be continued at the same seniority step on the salary schedule as if he/she had served in the district during such period. The school board may waive the requirement that a principal remain in the district’s service for at least two years following the sabbatical leave.
