WORK WEEK AND OVERTIME PAY. A. Overtime at the rate of one and one-half (1.5x) times the regular hourly rate of pay will be paid for all hours worked over forty (40) hours during the work week. Overtime worked on Saturdays shall be paid at one and one-half (1.5x) times the regular hourly rate and overtime worked on Sundays or Holidays shall be paid at two (2x) times the regular hourly rate. The work week is defined as Saturday through Friday. Absences for personal leave days, deduct days, or vacation days are excluded from the computation of days or hours worked.

WORK WEEK AND OVERTIME PAY. 7.01 The regular work week shall be as follows: The regular work week shall be five (5) consecutive work days, Monday through Friday, for eight (8) hours. All other Saturday and Sunday work at all Lakeview School buildings and modular units shall be offered to the current custodians prior to the calling of any substitutes. The hours of work shall be consecutive and shall include one half (1/2) hour paid lunch period for eight (8) hour employees. Employees working eight hours per day shall have one fifteen (15) minute break within their work day. The time of the break will be set by the supervisor or principal and the employees; and time clocks may be required for the fifteen (15) minute break or the thirty (30) minute lunch period.

  • HOURS AND OVERTIME 3:1 A workweek is defined as seven (7) consecutive calendar days, from Saturday midnight to Saturday midnight. The basic workweek shall consist of five (5) workdays of eight (8) hours each and shall begin Monday and run through Friday, except when a job other than for a public utility is to be done on Saturday, then the Company may assign another day as a non-workday and Saturdays becomes a workday in the basic workweek. An extended workweek shall begin at starting time Monday and continue until the next Monday starting time. The regular hours of work for all employees shall be from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with an unpaid meal period of thirty (30) minutes which normally will be from 12:00 noon to 12:30 p.m. provided, however, that the regular lunch period may be advance or delayed an hour or less when work must necessarily be performed during the regular lunch period. Such a change in the lunch period shall not be deemed to require the payment of overtime. The regular hours of work may be changed by the Company at the request or direction of the public utility or governmental authorities, and by mutual agreement between the Company and the Union. The Company may change the start times by 30 minutes in either direction of the regular start time to meet the operational need without union approval. Such a change in the regular hours of work shall not be deemed to require the payment of overtime.

  • Overtime Pay a) A casual employee shall be entitled to overtime pay in accordance with Article 27.05 in the following circumstances:

  • Normal Work Week The normal work week shall be thirty-seven and one-half (37 1/2) hours, and the normal daily hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours, exclusive of a meal period. The normal work week shall be Monday through Friday and the normal workday shall be scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • Overtime Payments (1) Subject to the provisions of this subclause, all work performed outside of the Ordinary Hours and time worked to accrue an RDO on any day, Monday to Friday, inclusive, shall be paid for at the rate of time and one half for the first two hours and double time thereafter.
