SCOPE OF WORK/TASKS. The Contractor shall provide technical support to the NRC for inspections, which will be assigned by the NRC’s Contracting Officer (CO) through issuance of task orders. Inspections shall be performed in accordance with applicable IPs, such as IP 71111.21M, which is a publicly available document accessible at: xxxxx://xxx.xxx.xxx/docs/ML1634/ML16340B000.pdf. The NRC Regional Team Leader (RTL) or COR will issue guidance to the Contractor inspectors during the inspection. The following is a summary of the scope of work: · For planning purposes, there will be about five CETIs conducted each year distributed among the four NRC Regions located in King of Prussia, PA; Atlanta, GA; Lisle, IL; and Arlington, TX. Each CETI requires either one mechanical, one electrical contractor or both disciplines as specified by the applicable regional staff. Each inspection requires typically requires 204 hours (prep, Direct Inspection, in-office review) of effort per individual Contractor employee. · Optional Inspections may cover unscheduled design engineering and operations inspections. Typically, there will be a maximum of four optional inspections per year. The scope and schedule of these inspections will be defined in a modification. The modification for optional inspections will contain inspection elements like those stated in the tasks section below. · At the discretion of the NRC, inspections may be conducted onsite or remotely, or a combination (hybrid) as directed by the RTL or COR, such as in circumstances where access to the site is not feasible (e.g., mandatory travel restrictions imposed due to a local or nationwide pandemic). Access to internet service is required (especially if performing a remote inspection). Internet should have enough speed and bandwidth to support videoconferences, large file transfers, etc.

BNL shall perform the following tasks:
SCOPE OF WORK/TASKS. The ORNL must provide all resources necessary to accomplish the tasks and deliverables described in this Statement of Work (SOW). Task 1. FC LWR Lattice-Physics and Simulator Analysis with U/Q The main task for this project will be to extend the recent SCALE lattice physics code assessment to assess the accuracy of Polaris/PARCS core modeling calculations. Full-core calculations should be performed with Polaris/PARCS with XX Xxxxx Carlo reference models to assess the accuracy of predictions of core-level quantities of interest through code-to-code comparisons and comparisons to plant data. Data sets to consider will be prioritized by NRC staff, but may include the WBN1 Cycle 1 and 2 CASL benchmarks, the BEAVRS benchmark, the Cofrentes data for previous work on core validation, the publicly available Tihange benchmark, and potentially Forsmark data or IRSN EDF data. The comparison analysis should examine trends and biases in quantities of interest across the benchmark set to identify potential areas of improvement. Full-core uncertainty calculations with Sampler and Polaris/PARCS should be performed for selected benchmarks to quantify the uncertainty in key quantities of interest
SCOPE OF WORK/TASKS. The contractor shall provide all resources necessary (personnel, equipment and material) to accomplish the tasks and deliverables described in this Statement of Work (SOW). The tasks and services include:
SCOPE OF WORK/TASKS. DOI/IBC must provide all resources necessary to accomplish the tasks and deliverables described in this Statement of Work (SOW). DOI/IBC must provide a comprehensive gap analysis that identifies the differences between NRC’s current HR operations services and DOI/IBC's HR operations services. DOI/IBC's HR service delivery model provides Federal agencies high quality, cost-effective and streamlined HR services in an all-inclusive model while fully utilizing automated processes and HR systems in the following areas:  Ta le nt Acquis ition  P os ition C la s s ifica tion  Emplo ye e Re la tions  La bor Re la tions  Fede ral Bene fits  HR S ys te ms Adminis tra tion The Gap Analysis is typically a 2-day meeting conducted onsite at NRC between the DOI/IBC and NRC stakeholders involved with managing and delivering HR operations services. The purpose of the meeting is: (for DOI/IBC) to gain an understanding of the NRC’s mission and HR needs discuss and document differences between current HR operations services and DOI/IBC's HR operations services discuss roles and responsibilities discuss assumptions and constraints discuss NRC’s agency policies ensure NRC’s clear understanding of DOI/IBC's HR service delivery model
SCOPE OF WORK/TASKS. SNL shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the tasks and deliverables described in this Statement of Work (SOW). The laboratory shall provide a final report that describes the modelling approach and results for a set of accident scenarios. The report shall include a summary, discussion and evaluation of calculated LPFs, as well as an evaluation of applicability of MELCOR to reprocessing facilities. SNL shall perform MELCOR modelling using the model parameters, flow rates, and room volumes developed in an earlier task order (see “Demonstration MELCOR Analyses of a Nuclear Fuel Reprocessing Plant,” X. Xxxxxxx, 2016) for a spent nuclear fuel reprocessing facility. The model parameters may be refined and expanded by SNL, however, SNL shall clearly cite the adjusted parameters in the final report.

SCOPE OF WORK/TASKS. The SNL must provide all resources necessary to accomplish the tasks and deliverables described in this Statement of Work (SOW). The servicing agency must provide technical support to the NRC during the development of HRA for the L3PRA Project. The SNL must provide technical support. Services include support for HRA issues associated with site-wide accident sequences and supporting the overall implementation and integration of HRA in the L3PRA Project. The SNL must provide the support and document it in the Monthly Letter Status Reports. The following tasks will support the development of strategies, approaches, or basic knowledge that can assist NRC staff in performing the necessary HRAs. However, the recommendations for each task should be consistent with an overall strategy or approach for HRA and provide a defensible basis for the HRA approaches and strategies expected to be used by NRC staff in supporting the Xxxxx 0 XXX project. The timing of the tasks described below are intended to correspond with when different HRA support will be needed. In addition, the timing of draft reports has been determined such that deadlines for the different PRA levels, hazards, and operational modes can be met by NRC staff responsible for performing the supporting HRA. However, it is recognized that some clarifications or updates regarding the approaches may need to occur as the Xxxxx 0 XXX Project continues its development and later review. For this reason, support for review activities has been identified to capture any clarifications or updates to recommendations for relevant HRA approaches to be implemented by NRC staff. Task 1 HRA issues associated with site-wide accident sequences SNL must support RES staff on HRA issues associated with site-wide accident sequences. A previously unaddressed HRA issue for the NRC site-wide L3PRA Project is the assessment of multiple, potential sources of radiological hazards. In particular, there are two nuclear power plants (NPPs) on the specific site being addressed by this NRC project. In addition, both units have a spent fuel pool and storage of spent fuel in dry casks commenced in 2013. Consequently, main control room staff, auxiliary or local operators, and the XXX xxxxx could be trying to address accident sequences for various combinations of reactors, spent fuel pools, and dry cask storage simultaneously. Recommendations in this task should include relevant contextual elements and performance influencing factors, as well a...
SCOPE OF WORK/TASKS. The NRC is mandated by USC Title 44 to procure all printing and print related services through the GPO. Thus under this IAA, the GPO will publish all NRC proposed rulemaking notices in the Federal Register. Since the Federal Register is published and printed by the GPO, the cost accrued by NRC for these services is paid by the Publications Branch, ADM/DAS/PB. NRC initiates these Federal Register services by issuing a single open requisition Standard Form 1 (SF-1) for each fiscal year. All charges throughout that FY are charged to the respective fiscal year SF-1 requisition.
