Severance Pay Entitlement. Severance pay will be granted to full time employees who are laid-off. This pay will be as follows:
a) Equal to or greater than 6 months continuous service but less than or equal to 2 years of service - Two (2) weeks pay.
b) Greater than 2 years but less than or equal to 18 years of service - One (1) additional weeks pay for every year of service greater than 2 years of service.
c) Greater than 18 years - Two (2) additional weeks pay for each additional year of service beyond 18 years.
d) The maximum severance shall be capped at 52 weeks of pay.
Severance Pay Entitlement. 11.6.1.1 All permanent regular employees shall be entitled to severance pay should their employment be terminated by the employer in accordance with Article 11, (Reduction, Severance Pay and Recall).
11.6.1.2 Instructors who receive permanent regular appointments as per Article 4.9, (Change in Type of Appointment), shall be entitled to severance pay 3 years after appointment to permanent regular status.
11.6.1.3 Probationary regular instructors shall be entitled to severance pay immediately upon appointment to permanent regular status.
11.6.1.4 Employees eligible for severance pay shall have the option to take severance pay: at the time of layoff; at the expiration of their recall period or during their recall period. Employees who take severance pay shall forfeit all rights to recall.
11.6.1.5 Severance pay shall not be granted to permanent regular employees whose employment as employees is discontinued and who, of their own volition, transfer to other continuous employment with the College.
Severance Pay Entitlement. 11.6.1.1 All permanent regular employees shall be entitled to severance pay should their employment be terminated by the employer in accordance with Article 11 Reduction, Severance Pay and Recall.
11.6.1.2 Instructors who receive permanent regular appointments as per Article
Severance Pay Entitlement. Except as provided by Section 6(c), Executive will not be entitled to Severance Pay if her Employment terminates before the occurrence of a Change in Control (as defined in Section 6). However, if, within two (2) years after a Change in Control: (A) the Company terminates Executive's Employment other than for "Cause" (as defined in (a) below) or due to "Permanent Disability" (as defined in (b) below), or (B) Executive terminates her Employment for Good Reason (as defined in (c) below), the Corporation will pay Executive Severance Pay (as defined in Section 4 below). Executive will not be entitled to Severance Pay under any circumstances if the Corporation terminates her Employment for Cause or due to Disability, or if Executive resigns other than for Good Reason, even if such termination of the Employment occurs within two (2) years after a Change in Control.

Where The Company decides the job an employee has been doing is no longer to be performed by anyone, and this is not due to the ordinary and customary turnover of labour, and that decision leads to the termination of employment of the employee, the employee is entitled to a severance payment as follows: If an employee is under 45 years of age, the following scale: 5 years and less than 6 years 14 weeks 6 years and over 16 weeks Where an employee is 45 years of age or over, the following scale: 2 years and less than 3 years 8.75 weeks 3 years and less than 4 years 12.5 weeks 5 years and less than 6 years 17.5 weeks "Weeks' pay" means the ordinary time rate of pay for the employee concerned. The severance payments are in addition to notice of termination.
Severance Pay Entitlement. Where :
(a) the Company has made a definite decision that it no longer wishes the job an employee has been doing done by anyone and this is not due to the ordinary and customary turnover of labour and that decision leads to the termination of employment of the employee; and
(b) clause 32.13 does not apply; the employee is entitled to the following amount of severance pay for a period of continuous service: Less than 1 year At least 1 year but less than 2 years At least 2 years but less than 3 years At least 3 years but less than 4 years At least 4 years but less than 5 years Nil 4 weeks' pay 6 weeks' pay 7 weeks' pay 8 weeks' pay At least 5 years but less than 6 years 10 weeks' pay At least 6 years but less than 7 years 11 weeks' pay At least 7 years but less than 8 years 13 weeks’ pay At least 8 years but less than 9 years 14 weeks’ pay At least 9 years but less than 10 years 16 weeks’ pay At least 10 years 12 weeks’ pay
Severance Pay Entitlement. Severance pay shall be paid to employees who are terminated because of changes in administrative procedures, automation, consolidation or suspension of business. The amount of severance pay shall be one (1) month at the employee’s current, regular, salary for each year of service, to a maximum of five (5) months.
Severance Pay Entitlement. (a) Subject to the other provisions of this clause, and employee who is terminated due to redundancy will be entitled to the following amount of severance pay in respect of a period of service: Period of continuous service (excluding any period of engagement as a casual (where a casual loading was paid) prior to becoming a permanent employee) Employee is under 45 years of age Employee is 45 year of age or older Less than one year Xxx Xxx 1 year and less than 2 years 4 weeks’ pay 5 weeks’ pay 2 years and less than 3 years 7 weeks’ pay 8.75 weeks’ pay 3 years and less than 4 years 10 weeks’ pay 12.5 weeks’ pay 4 years and less than 5 years 12 weeks’ pay 15 weeks’ pay 5 years and less than 6 years 14 weeks’ pay 17.5 weeks’ pay 6 years and over 16 weeks’ pay 20 weeks’ pay
(b) The above severance payments are in addition to the periods of notice specified in clause 32.1.
Severance Pay Entitlement. All regular employees discharged, displaced or laid off from their regular job because of elimination of positions, shall be entitled to choose severance pay as follows:
(1) One (1) weeks pay for more than one (1) years but less than two (2) years consecutive service;
(2) Two (2) weeks pay for more than two (2) years but less than five (5) years consecutive service;
(3) Three (3) weeks pay for more than five (5) years but less than eight (8) years consecutive service;
(4) Four (4) weeks pay for more than eight (8) years consecutive service.
