Supplementary Vacations.
(a) Upon reaching the employment anniversary of twenty-five (25) years of continuous service, employees shall have earned an additional five (5) work days’ vacation with pay. This provision applies when the qualifying date occurs before July 1st in each year.
(b) Upon reaching the employment anniversary of thirty (30) years of continuous service, employees shall have earned an additional ten (10) work days’ vacation with pay. This provision applies when the qualifying date occurs before July 1st in each year.
(c) Upon reaching the employment anniversary of thirty-five (35) years of continuous service, employees shall have earned an additional fifteen (15) work days’ vacation with pay. This provision applies when the qualifying date occurs before July 1st in each year.
(d) Upon reaching the employment anniversary of forty (40) years of continuous service, employees shall have earned an additional fifteen (15) work days’ vacation with pay. This provision applies when the qualifying date occurs before July 1st in each year.
(e) Upon reaching the employment anniversary of forty-five (45) years of continuous service, employees shall have earned an additional fifteen (15) work days’ vacation with pay. This provision applies when the qualifying date occurs before July 1st in each year. The supplementary vacations set out above are to be banked on the outlined supplementary vacation employment anniversary date and taken at the employee’s option at any time subsequent to the current supplementary vacation employment anniversary date but prior to the next supplementary vacation employment anniversary date.

2. The supplementary vacation may be taken at times and in allotments agreed upon by the Company and the employee.
3. The supplementary vacation must be taken prior to the employee becoming eligible for his next earned period of supplementary vacation as provided in subsection 1. above.
4. One (1) week’s supplementary vacation pay shall be equal to forty (40) hours at the straight time hourly rate of the employee's regular job.
5. For the purpose of determining eligibility for supplementary vacation, an employee's service shall be calculated from the last continuous service date of joining the Company.
6. At retirement or termination from the Company an employee who has completed ten (10) or more years of service shall be entitled to that portion of supplementary vacation pay proportionate to the number of years of service completed subsequent to his last five (5) year entitlement period.
Supplementary Vacations. EXPLANATION OF THE TABLE ENTITLEMENT IN WORKING DAYS FOR THE YEARS 2014 TO 2023 BY YEAR HIRED SCHEDULE "F" TEMPORARY AND CASUAL EMPLOYEES
Supplementary Vacations. Supplementary vacations in addition to the basic annual vacation entitlement shall be granted to Regular Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, Full-Time School-Term and eligible Part-Time School-Term Employees with more than ten (10) years’ service with the Board. Supplementary vacations shall be taken at a time to be arranged with the employee’s Department Head or designate.

Section 2: The supplementary vacation may be taken with the regular vacation to which the employee is entitled provided such vacation is not scheduled in any restricted vacation period, in which event the supplementary vacation shall be taken at a time to be agreed upon by the Company and the employee.
Section 3: The supplementary vacation must be taken prior to the employee becoming eligible for his next earned period of supplementary vacation as provided in Section 1 above.
Section 4: One (1) week's supplementary vacation pay shall be equal to forty (40) hours paid at the employee’s status rate.
Section 5: For the purpose of determining eligibility for supplementary vacation, an employee's service shall be calculated from the last continuous service date of joining the Company.
Section 6: At retirement or termination from the Company an employee who has completed five (5) or more years of service shall be entitled to that portion of supplementary vacation pay proportionate to the number of years of service completed subsequent to his last five (5) year entitlement period.

Supplementary Vacations. Each employee shall be entitled to the following paid vacation (supplementary vacation) in addition to the annual vacation to which there is entitlement under Clause 11.1: Each employee upon commencing the eleventh (11th), sixteenth (16th), twenty-first (21st), twenty-sixth (26th), thirty-first (31st), thirty-sixth (36th), forty-first (41st) or forty-sixth (46th) calendar year of service shall thereupon become entitled to five (5) working days of supplementary vacation. It is understood between the parties that each employee shall become entitled to their supplementary vacation under this Clause 11.3 on the first day of January in the year in which the employee qualifies for such supplementary vacation. An employee shall retain supplementary vacation entitlement notwithstanding that such employee's employment is terminated prior to the end of the period to which the entitlement applies.
