Suspension and Dismissal. (a) All dismissals and suspensions will be subject to the grievance procedure under Article 8 (Complaint and Grievance Procedure). (b) One copy of the written notice of dismissal or suspension shall be forwarded to both the union xxxxxxx and union staff representative by facsimile, courier, email or hand-delivery within one administrative office business day of the action being taken.

Suspension and Dismissal. 9.01 A claim by an employee that he has been unjustly dismissed or suspended will be treated as a grievance if a written statement of such grievance is lodged with the Company's representative by the Shop Committee within three (3) working days of the notice of dismissal or suspension. The Company will pay for 15 minutes. 9.04 An employee requested to attend a meeting for the purpose of being disciplined, will be told the purpose of the request, and be informed he has the right to have a shop xxxxxxx present. 9.05 When a formerly disciplined employee has accumulated a period of three (3) months for consultation, six (6) months for verbal warning, twelve (12) months for written and eighteen (18) months for suspensions, without further warnings, any consultation, verbal, written warnings or suspensions on file will be considered inactive for further discipline matters.
