SYSTEM CONTROL OPERATORS. Management and Union shall mutually agree when establishing a working schedule different from present arrangements for System Control Operators, excepting trainees not appointed to a rotation schedule. Such schedule will be supported by a two thirds majority of the operators in the rotation before it is implemented. Implementation and mutual agreement of the schedule for the next year will be planned two months before the current schedule ends. The Operator on regular shift rotation working a statutory holiday shall be paid for the statutory holiday worked and, in addition, shall be paid double time for the actual hours worked. The Operator’s statutory holiday will always be the calendar date and not the day designated by the Commission for other Employees. Operators shall attend safety sessions and such sessions shall constitute part of the hours Operators are obliged to work. Operators shall provide notice in writing of tentative arrangements to be taken in the next vacation year and shall confirm arrangements in writing six weeks before the vacation is taken, all such arrangements to be consistent with Article of this Agreement. A minimum of one half of an Operator’s vacation shall be taken during a period when the Operator is scheduled to work the day shift. Monday to Friday (excluding Holidays) or any other shift when two Operators who are qualified are scheduled. Qualified shall be deemed to mean an Operator who is in at least his third year of apprenticeship. The regular minimum complement shall be three qualified Operators, as defined in on day shifts Monday to Friday (excluding lunch breaks and Holidays.) Where due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, fewer than three qualified Operators are present on days, and there is a request for an additional Operator, the Employer will give due consideration to such request and may mutually agree to add an Operator. There shall be a minimum of one qualified Operator on night shift, Monday to Sunday. Requests for an additional Operator will be considered and the Employer may by mutual agreement add an Operator. Replacement coverage for planned vacation will be scheduled in advance. All qualified Operators may be required to serve on the operator standby roster for the purpose of covering short term manpower shortages or other system conditions requiring additional personnel.

SYSTEM CONTROL OPERATORS. 11.1 a) The intent of this Article is to administer the Control Room shift scheduling in a fair and consistent manner for all staff in the Control Room. This will ensure that Management has the ability to utilize staff complements efficiently and effectively while minimizing disruptions to shift workers personal lives. If a change in the schedule is required, due to a significant change(s) in business conditions and/or a change in the available resource complement, the Union shall, within twenty (20) calendar days, formulate a schedule to be implemented within fifteen (15) days contingent on Management’s approval. The schedule for the following year will be posted two (2) months before the current schedule ends. This schedule will cover the entire year. If more than one schedule is formulated that meets the parameters of the Corporation, then the System Operators will have the opportunity to vote on their preference. In the event that a tie vote occurs, Management shall cast the tie-breaking vote. Management will arrange schedules for Operators in Training.
SYSTEM CONTROL OPERATORS. 30.8 Qualified System Control Operators holding the rank of Level VI or higher shall be required to take their turn on Standby in rotation, as arranged by the Supervisor of the Operating Department.

  • Network Resource Interconnection Service (check if selected)

  • Interconnection Service Interconnection Service allows the Interconnection Customer to connect the Large Generating Facility to the Participating TO’s Transmission System and be eligible to deliver the Large Generating Facility’s output using the available capacity of the CAISO Controlled Grid. To the extent the Interconnection Customer wants to receive Interconnection Service, the Participating TO shall construct facilities identified in Appendices A and C that the Participating TO is responsible to construct. Interconnection Service does not necessarily provide the Interconnection Customer with the capability to physically deliver the output of its Large Generating Facility to any particular load on the CAISO Controlled Grid without incurring congestion costs. In the event of transmission constraints on the CAISO Controlled Grid, the Interconnection Customer's Large Generating Facility shall be subject to the applicable congestion management procedures in the CAISO Tariff in the same manner as all other resources.

  • System Operations Each party, at its own expense, shall provide and maintain the equipment, software, services and testing necessary to transmit Data Communications to, and receive Data Communications from the parties’ respective Receipt Computers.

  • Station Service Seller shall be responsible for arranging and obtaining, at its sole risk and expense, any station service required by the Facility that is not provided by the Facility itself.

  • SYSTEM OPERATION The Parties shall adhere to any applicable operational requirements of PJM necessary to protect the integrity of the transmission system within the PJM Control Area and the transmission systems of interconnected control areas, and shall satisfy any and all PJM, RFC and NERC criteria, when applicable. The DS Supplier shall also adhere to any applicable operational requirements of the Company necessary to protect the integrity of the Company’s local distribution system.

  • ACCESS TO OPERATIONS SUPPORT SYSTEMS 2.1 BellSouth shall provide Max-Tel access to operations support systems (“OSS”) functions for pre-ordering, ordering and provisioning, maintenance and repair, and billing. BellSouth shall provide access to the OSS through manual and/or electronic interfaces as described in this Attachment. It is the sole responsibility of Max-Tel to obtain the technical capability to access and utilize BellSouth’s OSS interfaces. Specifications for Max-Tel ’s access and use of BellSouth’s electronic Version R4Q01: 12/01/01 interfaces are set forth at xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx and are incorporated herein by reference.

  • Transmission System Operation The NTO shall be responsible for ensuring that all actions related to the operation, maintenance and modification of its facilities that are designated as NTO Transmission Facilities Under ISO Operational Control and NTO Transmission Facilities Requiring ISO Notification are performed in accordance with the terms of this Agreement, all Reliability Rules and all other applicable reliability rules, standards and criteria, all operating instructions, ISO Tariffs, and ISO Procedures.
