TIME CREDITS WHILE TRAVELLING. 13.1 Eligible employees shall be credited for ministry-authorized time spent in travelling over and above thirty six and one quarter (36.25) working hours per week.
TIME CREDITS WHILE TRAVELLING. Time required to be spent on business travel, as authorized by the Employer, outside regular work hours shall be deemed to be part of an employee’s workday and shall be compensated at the applicable overtime rates for all hours spent traveling with the pre-approval of the Employer.
TIME CREDITS WHILE TRAVELLING. (a) Where an employee is required to travel outside of normal working hours in carrying out his or her duties and responsibilities, he/she shall be credited with such travelling time when approved by the Employer. Travel time for educational courses paid for by the Employer will not be approved unless the course is a duty assignment.

Employees providing service in the community will be paid for the regular hours of work as per Article excluding their travel time from home to the first visit of the day and from the last visit of the day to home. When sleeping accommodation is provided, the hours between eleven and the regular starting time of the employee shall not be credited. When an employee is required to travel on their regular day off or a holiday listed in Article (Holidays), they shall be credited with a minimum of four (4) hours. All travelling time shall be paid at the employee’s basic hourly rate or, where mutually agreed, by compensating leave.

Where an employee travels by public transportation, time shall be credited one (1) hour prior to departure until one (1) hour the actual arrival of the carrier at its destination. When an employee travels by automobile either home or the workplace, time shall be credited the time of departure until the destination is reached and from the time of departure from the destination until the employee reaches home or the workplace. Where an employee is required to travel on a regular day off or on a holiday in accordance with Appendix Article (Holidays), shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours. All travelling time shall be credited to the employee as compensating leave. It is recognized however, that where the scheduling of such leave results in unacceptable service and/or productivity concerns, it may be necessary to pay an employee for travelling time. Such payment shall be at basic hourly rate.
