Traffic Management Plan. The Traffic Management Plan as described in Schedule 18 (Technical Requirements) is specified in Appendix 5, as attached and forming part of this Schedule, and shall be amended or supplemented by the Contractor as required in accordance with Schedule 18 and in accordance with the procedure set out in Schedule 5 (Design and Plan Certification Process and Review Procedure).

Traffic Management Plan i. A traffic management/control plan shall be submitted which will provide for the safe and orderly movement of motorized and non-motorized vehicles on any public streets (maintained and operated by the Town or the NCDOT) on which normal traffic flow will be disrupted (lane closures, street closures, etc.) during construction, including a detour plan as may be necessary. ii. The submittal of a Site Development Plan shall include a construction traffic routing map that identifies the local street network that will be impacted by construction traffic associated with this proposed addition. The routing plan shall minimize, and where practical, prohibit construction traffic on local streets. The plan shall also provide for the safe and continued use of bicycle and pedestrian corridors during construction. iii. The Traffic management plan shall be prepared in accordance with the latest version of Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and applicable NCDOT Standards. iv. All signs shall be made of high retro-reflectivity material and, if night time closures are necessary, signs shall include beacons. v. The traffic management plan shall be sealed by a Professional Engineer licensed in the State of North Carolina. vi. Lane closures on public streets will be permitted only between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Any deviation from these hours must be coordinated with and approved by the Town Traffic Engineer. vii. The Traffic Management Plan shall state that closures and night time work on public streets must be approved by the Town Manager. Please see the attached form for Town Manager approval. This form must be completed and submitted to the Town for approval along with the relevant traffic control plan. The Contractor must notify the Town Engineering, Police, Fire, and Transportation Departments, E911, and affected residents at least 3 business days prior to the commencement of approved night work and/or approved street closure. viii. The University is responsible for repairing damaged pavement, markings, signs and signal equipment as necessary. ix. The University’s contractor shall coordinate with the Town Public Works Department (968-2800) for traffic signal system underground cable conflicts.

Traffic Management Plan. (i) By no later than three (3) years prior to the FIFA World Cup™, or at any earlier time requested by the LOC, the Host City shall provide the LOC with a traffic management plan for the Competition Periods, describing in detail: a) traffic management systems around the Stadium and in the centre of the Host City on Match Days as well as for the location of the FIFA Fan Fest for the entire Competition Period, including contingency/emergency plans; b) routes, including shuttle bus routes, timetables and distance estimates for key routes being covered by the traffic management plan; c) organisation of public transportation on Match Days, including free public transportation for ticket holders and hospitality guests as well as for FIFA Fan Fest visitors; d) the directional signage system within the Host City and for all highways, streets, airports, train stations and other relevant locations and areas as proposed to be established in connection the Competitions by the Host City, which shall be consistent with the directional signage programme established by the other host cities of the Competition and the official Competition design as developed by FIFA; e) the traffic and transportation information system as proposed to be established by the Host City together with the airport and train station authorities as well as with the police and other public authorities for visitors of the Competitions and the FIFA Fan Fest, including any flyers, website information and information desks; and f) the manner in which the Host City proposes to comply with the specific requirements set out in this Clause 4.5. (ii) The Host City shall implement the traffic management plan for the Competition Periods, at its own costs, including the implementation and adoption of all measures being part of the traffic management plan, passing the necessary municipal ordinances and by-laws as well as providing any assistance requested of it by FIFA, the LOC and/or the Government authorities.

Traffic Management Plan. The Contractor shall develop a detailed Traffic Management Plan for the Work under the Agreement. The purpose is to develop a Traffic Management Plan to cope with the traffic disruption as a result of construction activities by identifying strategies for traffic management on the roads and railway station impacted by the construction activities, which shall be submitted to the local Traffic Police for their approval and to the Engineer for his Notice of No Objection. The Contractor shall implement the Traffic Management Plan throughout the whole period of the Agreement and shall comply strictly with the approved plan during the construction of his works. Also See Schedule DC, Outline Construction Specification, sub- section 1.3 Road Works Requirements and Specifications. All costs associated with Traffic Management shall borne by the Contractor and this shall include for the construction of diversion routes, or upgrading of existing roads for diversions, and the maintenance, including cleaning, of the same and the existing roads within 150 m of the Works for the duration of the Agreement.
Traffic Management Plan. MCMS has a one-way driveway. Students are to walk at all times on sidewalks (along Doubletree and Hollytree), not in parking lots, and to cross streets legally. Bikes are to be walked (bike riders must wear helmets) on campus sidewalks, not ridden in the parking lot. Parents should carefully review the traffic management section of the Parent Handbook to avoid putting their child or other children at risk with unsafe drop off and pickup points. We encourage law enforcement officers to enforce the laws regarding red-zone violations, speeding, jaywalking, unsafe “U-turns,” illegal turns in or out of the parking lot, and double-parking during drop off or pickup. The MCMS school community is expected to respect the crossing guard by using appropriate language and following his/her lead. Numbered parking spaces are reserved for staff. There are no visitor parking spaces. Visitors may park on the curb near the gym or on the street. Adults participating in field trips need to park their cars on the street. Is held each morning, Monday thru Friday, from 7:30-8:15 in the MCMS Library. It is supervised by a staff member and is a place to quietly work on classwork and study.
Traffic Management Plan. Despite the significant reduction in heavy vehicle traffic expected to be achieved by the Barging Requirements, the CRD shall cause the WWTP Contractor to work with the Township, and the Township shall work with the WWTP Contractor in good faith on the preparation of a traffic management plan (the “Traffic Management Plan”) to apply to the transport through the Township of those materials and equipment that are not subject to the Barging Requirements taking into account issues of community concern regarding the frequency, times and type of heavy vehicle traffic. The Traffic Management Plan shall be subject to the approval of the Township, acting reasonably. Without limiting the generality or scope of what the Traffic Management Plan may address, the Traffic Management Plan may: (A) specify the use of a staging area in proximity to the WWTP site to reduce truck parking on roadways waiting to make deliveries of materials; (B) retain implement supplementary crossing guards where appropriate; and (C) include other measures acceptable to the Township, as the CRD and the WWTP Contractor develop to address the trucking of materials through the Township that are not subject to the Barging Requirements and other traffic associated with the WWTP Project.
