Training and Compensation. A. As determined by the MTC, the Association MTC members shall be provided on- going training by the Board to ensure consistent application of the Master Teacher criteria.
B. The Association MTC members shall be paid at the curriculum work compensation rate in order to perform MTC duties, including training concerning their MTC responsibilities, which take place outside the bargaining unit member workday.
C. The Association MTC members shall be provided release time for any work pertaining to MTC duties, including training concerning their MTC responsibilities, which occur during the bargaining unit member workday.
Training and Compensation a. The LPDC member shall be provided with on-going training as determined by the committee.
b. LPDC members shall be compensated at the index rate of .0403 on the supplemental salary schedule in order to perform his/her LPDC duties.

2. LPDC members shall be compensated at seven percent (7%) of the BA base per school year in order to perform his/her LPDC duties.
3. The number of release day meetings to review IPDP's in any one year shall not exceed ten (10) days.

With the approval of the Superintendent, members of the Master Teacher Committee shall be afforded the opportunity to attend training relevant to the functions of the Committee. If the training is during work hours, with the approval of the Superintendent Committee members shall be given professional leave to attend. Committee members shall be reimbursed for all actual and necessary expenses incurred as part of the training in accordance with Board policy. Association members on the Committee shall be paid at the rate of twenty dollars ($20) per hour paid in quarter hour increments for hours spent outside the teacher workday. There shall be a cap of $2,250 for the District total each school year. Any additional hours beyond this cap must be approved by the Superintendent.

The Master Teacher Committee members shall be provided on-going training by the employer to ensure consistent application of the Master Teacher criteria as approved by the Superintendent. The Master Teacher Committee members shall be compensated at three percent (3%) of the Teacher BA-0 level in order to perform their Master Teacher Committee duties. The Master Teacher Committee shall be provided with release time for professional development pertaining to Master Teacher Committee duties.

b. LPDC members shall be compensated twenty dollars ($20.00) per hour or a maximum of sixty dollars ($60.00) per meeting.
c. All LPDC members shall be reimbursed for all actual and necessary expenses incurred while performing any LPDC duties and responsibilities as approved by the District Treasurer.

2. MTC members shall receive an annual stipend of $300.00 and an additional $25.00 for every application reviewed up to an annual maximum per MTC member of $100.00.

LPDC members shall be compensated at the current hourly rate for curriculum writing in order to perform their LPDC duties. Additionally, LPDC members shall receive released time to perform LPDC duties or attend training as necessary to properly complete their duties.
Training and Compensation. 1. Members of the LPDC shall be afforded the opportunity to attend training on the purpose, responsibilities, functioning, and legal requirements of LPDC's. This training for committee members shall be considered as a part of the district's professional funds.
2. Teacher members of a LPDC shall be paid in accordance with rates stated on the supplemental salary schedule.

The master teacher members shall be provided release time in order to perform their master teacher committee duties, if the Superintendent or designee and the OTA President mutually agree to meet during the school day.
