HEALTH & SAFETY PLAN. The Employer shall develop and follow written policies and procedures to deal with on- the-job safety and shall have effective safety and accident prevention plans in conformance with state (WAC 296-800) and federal laws.
HEALTH & SAFETY PLAN. The Venue requires a full Health & Safety Plan with Risk Assessment/Hazard Register at least 10 working days before the first day of hire. All activities undertaken at the venue must be outlined in this plan. If any activities to be undertaken are not outlined in this plan, then the Venue requires this to be updated and provided before the commencement of any activity at the venue and this may delay the intended start time of the Hirer’s event.
HEALTH & SAFETY PLAN. This plan shall identify all hazards and include both directives and specific operating procedures that will be used to mitigate those hazards.
HEALTH & SAFETY PLAN. CONTRACTOR shall conduct all operations under the CONTRACT in a manner so as to avoid risk of bodily harm to persons or damage to property and in full compliance with all GOVERNMENTAL REQUIREMENTS. Further, CONTRACTOR shall continuously inspect its WORK, materials and equipment to identify any unsafe conditions and shall promptly take action to correct any condition which presents such a risk. CONTRACTOR represents and warrants that it is fully qualified and knowledgeable with respect to all health and safety requirements relating to the WORK and that as an independent contractor, CONTRACTOR shall be solely responsible for compliance with those requirements. Upon demand by NATIONAL, CONTRACTOR shall submit in writing to NATIONAL for review its SITE-specific Health & Safety Plan. CONTRACTOR shall comply fully with the terms of such Plan. CONTRACTOR shall provide and maintain its own safety equipment in accordance with its Health & Safety Plan (if applicable) and all other applicable legal and health and safety requirements. The CONTRACTOR is also responsible for providing CONTRACTOR AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL with adequate information and training in conformance with GOVERNMENTAL REQUIREMENTS. CONTRACTOR shall ensure that all CONTRACTOR AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL comply with all applicable requirements. Should CONTRACTOR fail to comply with its Health & Safety Plan, or with other applicable requirements as referenced above, such action or inaction shall be considered a material breach of the CONTRACT. Should CONTRACTOR upon notice thereof neglect or refuse to take appropriate corrective action, NATIONAL shall have the right, but not the duty, to stop the CONTRACTOR's WORK or any portion thereof, and/or correct the condition and backcharge all incident costs to CONTRACTOR's account. CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for all fines or penalties assessed due to its failure to comply with the Health & Safety Plan and applicable GOVERNMENTAL REQUIREMENTS, including any fines or penalties assessed against NATIONAL. CONTRACTOR agrees, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to indemnify and hold NATIONAL harmless from any losses, liabilities, costs and expenses resulting from CONTRACTOR's failure to comply with the Health & Safety Plan and all applicable health and safety GOVERNMENTAL REQUIREMENTS. HEALTH & SAFETY PLAN. The Employer shall develop written policies and procedures to address on-the-job safety and update them as needed. The City will provide appropriate training on safety policies and procedures. The City shall prepare ongoing site-specific safety and security plans in conformance with state and federal laws. The Union may submit any concerns related to the written policies and procedures to the Labor/Management Committee.
HEALTH & SAFETY PLAN. The objective of the Site-specific Health and Safety Plan (“HASP”) is to establish the procedures, personnel responsibilities, and training necessary to protect the health or safety of all on-site personnel during the SRI/FS. The plan shall provide for routine but hazardous field activities and for unexpected Site emergencies. The Site-specific health or safety requirements and procedures in the HASP shall be based on an ongoing assessment of Site conditions, including the most current information on each medium. For each field task during the SRI/FS, the HASP shall identify:  Possible problems and hazards and their solutions.  Environmental surveillance measures.  Specifications for protective clothing.  The appropriate level of respiratory protection.  The rationale for selecting that level.  Criteria, procedures, and mechanisms for upgrading the level of protection and for suspending activity, if necessary. The HASP shall also include the delineation of exclusion areas on a map and describe provisions for this delineation in the field. The HASP shall indicate the on-site person responsible for implementing the HASP as a representative of Respondents, protective equipment, personnel decontamination procedures, and medical surveillance. The following documents shall be consulted: EPA’s Standard Operating Safety Guide (OSWER Directive No. 9285.1-03, PB 92-963414, June 1992). OSHA e-HASP Software – Version 1.0. September 2003 (xxx.xxxx.xxx/xxx/xxxxxx/xxxxx/xxxxx.xxxx Occupational Safety and Health Standards (Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”), 29 C.F.R. Part 1910). Occupational Safety and Health Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities: Appendix B (NIOSH/OSHA/USCG/EPA 1985). Guidance for Conducting Remedial Investigations and Feasibility Studies Under CERCLA, Interim Final (OSWER Directive 9355.3-01, EPA/540/G-89/004). OSHA regulations at 40 C.F.R. § 1910 and Chapter 9 of the Interim Standard Operating Safety Guide, which describes the routine emergency provisions of a site-specific health and safety plan, shall be the primary reference used by Respondents in developing and implementing the Health and Safety Plan. The measures in the HASP shall be developed and implemented to comply with applicable State and Federal occupational health and safety regulations. HEALTH & SAFETY PLAN. It is mandatory for the Contractor to submit a Health & Safety Plan to the Employer (Client). The Employer will discuss and negotiate with the Contractor the contents of the Health and Safety Plan contemplated in 5 (1) of the Construction Regulations and thereafter finally approve the Health & Safety Plan for implementation. The Contractor must forward their Health & Safety Plan to the Employer’s Representative (Programme/Project Manager) within two (2) weeks of the contract award or as practically possible after contract award. No work to commence without prior approval of the Health and Safety Plan. Any changes to the Contractor’s submitted Health & Safety Plan will not result in a compensation event or changes to the contract value. Compliance with Employment Equity Act 55 of 1998 Contractors employing more than fifty (50) employees are required to submit a Certificate of Compliance with the Employment Equity Act No. 55 of 1998. This Certificate of Compliance is a mandatory Tender Returnable and failure to do so would lead to disqualification of the offer / tender.

HEALTH & SAFETY PLAN. Tenderers will need to complete and submit the enclosed Form 1: Contractor’s Occupational Health and Safety Management Information with their tender bid. Tenderers who have already completed Council’s Health and Safety Induction process do not need to complete form 1. The successful Tenderer will be required to complete Council’s Health and Safety Induction process if they have not previously completed the process. The successful Tenderer shall submit a comprehensive health and safety plan that will be taken to control all the hazards relating to this type of work.
