Transfer of Accumulated Sick Leave. An employee upon initial employment, who had been an employee of a public school system in California for a period of one (1) calendar year or more and is otherwise eligible to do so shall be allowed to transfer their accumulated sick leave provided the sick leave is transferred within one (1) year of the date of the termination from the previous California public school employer.
Transfer of Accumulated Sick Leave. A teacher may request transfer of accumulated sick leave earned in another school district within the state. Such leave may be transferred at a rate equal to the number of days earned in the Xxxxxx County School District up to a maximum of ten (10) days per year of employment in the district. The maximum sick leave that can be transferred to the Xxxxxx County District is sixty (60) days.
Transfer of Accumulated Sick Leave. A new employee of the DISTRICT who has been a certificated employee of another public school district in California for one year or more, may request in writing the transfer of any accumulated unused leave for illness or injury from the former district to the DISTRICT. Such notice shall be filed during the first year of employment in the DISTRICT.
Transfer of Accumulated Sick Leave. Education Code, Section 45202, as 35 currently adopted is incorporated by reference into this Agreement. 36
Transfer of Accumulated Sick Leave. Any employee new to the District having previous experience outside the District but within the State shall have transferred with him/her the accumulated sick leave earned in the previous district of employment. Forms shall be provided by the District to the employee for the purposes of requesting the transfer of his/her accumulated sick leave from his/her employer. It is the responsibility of the employee to complete and return the form to the Human Resources Office.
Transfer of Accumulated Sick Leave. Should the unit member leave the District and attain employment in any other California school or college district, all unused accumulated sick leave will be transferred to the other California school or college district upon the written request of the unit member. Should the unit member be hired full time by the District, all unused accumulated sick leave shall be transferred to the new position. Unit members who have accumulated sick leave in another California school or college district may request the district of previous employment to send an official verification of the accumulated sick leave to the CHRO Imperial Valley College who shall, in turn, credit such leave to the unit member's sick leave balance.
Transfer of Accumulated Sick Leave. A teacher who comes from another public agency in Ohio shall be permitted to transfer the amount of his/her accumulated sick leave from that agency up to the maximum of the accumulated sick leave permitted at West Geauga Schools.
Transfer of Accumulated Sick Leave. 12.2.4.1 A certificated employee of another California school district who has been an employee of that district for one (1) year or more and who accepts a position requiring certification qualifications in this District at any time during the second or any succeeding school year of the unit member’s employment with the former district shall, in writing, notify the Human Resources Department of this District of the name and address of the district by which the unit member was last employed and request credit for accumulated leave of absence for illness to which such a unit member is, or was, entitled under the Education Code at the time of separation.
Transfer of Accumulated Sick Leave. A classified person who has been an employee of another California school district for a period of one school year or more and who accepts a position in the Torrance Unified School District within one year of termination from the first district shall have transferred to this district the total amount of sick leave of absence which was accumulated in the first district.
Transfer of Accumulated Sick Leave. A teacher who has accumulated sick leave within the past ten (10) years in another public-school district in Ohio shall be credited with the unused balance of his/her accumulated sick leave up to a maximum of days allowable in section 4. as long as the teacher presents a properly certified record of such accumulated sick leave days to the BOARD Treasurer.
