TUITION REFUND POLICY. Xxxxxx College of Canine Studies follows the State of California’s Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education refund policy. This policy is applicable whether or not a student has begun training by physically attending the classes. A student has the right to receive 100 percent of the amount paid for institutional charges, less the non-refundable fees not to exceed one hundred fifty dollars ($150) if notice of cancellation is made through attendance at the first class session or the seventh day after enrollment, whichever is later. A student who has been enrolled for more than seven (7) days and less than 60% of a program’s term (Semester, Session, Seminar, Course) and finds it necessary to withdraw from a Xxxxxx College educational program may be eligible for a partial refund of their paid tuition. Tuition and fees (including assessment fees, book fees, etc.) are refundable at a pro-rata rate to 60% of term, program, or course completion. The student must adhere to the “Withdrawal ” policy stated in the Xxxxxx College's Catalog. The effective date of withdrawal will be set as the date the student meets all the requirements of the withdrawal policy including notice of withdrawal and returns all school property. Exceptions can be made for students called to active duty (copy of service orders is required) or in the event of the student’s death or disability. For purpose of determining your obligation for the time attended, you will be considered to have withdrawn from the program when any of the following occurs: • When you notified the school of the withdrawal or the actual date of withdrawal, whichever is later. • If you fail to return from your approved Leave of Absence (LOA), the date of withdrawal shall be the first date of the leave of absence. • If the school terminates your enrollment. After the beginning of the enrollment period, a student is liable for the cost of textbooks and supplies provided by Xxxxxx College. In addition, the student is liable for tuition charges for the term during which the student withdrew or was dismissed including all other outstanding charges from prior terms, as per the following schedule. TUITION REFUND POLICY. Student is entitled to a refund of Student’s tuition in the event that Student elects to withdraw from The PowerScore LSAT Course, subject to the following conditions: (1) The three hundred and fifty dollar ($350 USD) course deposit is non refundable; (2) Student is not entitled to any refund once Student accesses their PowerScore Online Student Center account. (3) PowerScore must receive notification of Student’s intention to withdraw from The PowerScore LSAT Course at least ten (10) full business days before Lesson One of Student’s originally scheduled course. If notification is received by PowerScore on or before the required deadline, and Student has not accessed their PowerScore Online Student Center account, Students' tuition payment, minus the three hundred and fifty dollar ($350 USD) non-refundable course deposit, will be refunded to Student. (4) Student is not entitled to any refund if notification by Student is not received on or before the deadline referenced in Sect. (F)(3) above. (5) Student is not entitled to any refund if Student enrolls in the course less than ten (10) business days prior to Lesson 1 of the course. (6) There is no additional refund if the licensed PowerScore Course Materials are returned. (7) If Student is in violation of any terms of the Enrollment Agreement, Student relinquishes the right to any refund of tuition or deposits paid. TUITION REFUND POLICY. Section 1: The County shall pay 100%of tuition to a maximum of $2,000.00 a year to regular full-time employees taking approved courses, as outlined in a more detailed policy statement available from the Human Resources Department. Approved courses shall be those which provide for the systematic improvement of the knowledge or skills required in the performance of the employee's work or courses that, for other reasons, will be beneficial to the employee and the County. TUITION REFUND POLICY. The Board of Education agrees to pay one hundred (100) percent of the tuition cost for approved course work up to a limit of five hundred (500) dollars per contract year. These courses shall not be limited to college courses but must be work related and approved in advance by supervisor. Dues for membership in any association are not reimbursable under this policy. This secretarial improvement program is not tied in any way to the salary guide. If and when the State requires certification for secretarial employees, the Board will refund one hundred (100) percent of the tuition costs for those courses required by the State.
